He has killed them in the past with that same shot (game 4, 2006) and just killed the Blazers Sunday with it. They should have fouled Ron under the basket
You're missing the point Suns had to foul he had like 3 guys on him and yet takes that shot that could have easily lost the game for the Lakers. He just got lucky enough to actually make it.

And yes they should have fouled Ron.

They let him waltz damn near 70 feet with 3 guys behind and none in front to take a tear drop/floater he has been making his whole career. That was plain stupid on that part. That is a layup to him and they basically opened up the floodgates trying to strip him from behind instead of playing in front or fouling him

Hey guys. Two guys that should be in jail for the last 5 years just helped the Lakers win.

And like I said still a dumb ass shot. He made it good for him but if he misses that shot then the talk after the game if the media can get the Lakers nuts out of their mouth for 5 seconds is that Kobe shouldn't have taken that shot because it was stupid.

Well C-Webb just called it a stupid shot anyways regardless anyways but still.

Live with him, die with him. Phil said it in an article a day ago about him and Fisher. They have the green light late to take and either make or miss any shot late without question.

Plus, Mr. let me call timeout when I have none, really can't comment on IQ and game management

There are a lot of if's in that game. If he didn't make it they would have been in trouble, but he did. If Pau wouldn't have let Gortat slip a screen 10 damn times to the rim the game wouldn't be close, but he did. If LO doesn't foul Frye they are finished, but he did. If Nash doesn't turn the ball over versus Artest in the different OT's the Suns win, but he did. You can only deal with the reality of what happened and that was LA won and is a step closer to having HCA against every team but SA, who they don't need it for.

82games.com defines "clutch" as any time in the 4th quarter or overtime with the game within 5 points.

Kobe went 5/17 in the clutch tonight.

CLUTCHTASTIC. I HAVE A BOOK THAT SAYS I CLOSE GAMES.

Jerry West defines it as rings and he has 5 that says I close em better than anyone in the league not named Derek Fisher
