WWF All Star Wrestling
November 19th, 1983
Hamburg PA

Match#1 Eddie Gilbert vs Ken Juggan

Eddie is back alive and well, and it's weird he just showed up instead of fighting MS, but he's awesome so whatever. Good mat wrestling from the kid as he works on the knee and does some fun mean work on it. He wins with a running knee lift
*3/4

Match#2 Masked Superstar vs Steve Lombardi

MS gets his chance to beat Lombardi's ass, and hey, it rocks a ton. MS attacks the neck and has a gross sleeper that looks deadly for once, and not lazy as fuck. MS >>>>>>>. He lets it go and clubs the hell out of him and kills him with the Neckbreaker
**

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Rudy Diamond

Wonderful debut from a man whose going to be very important for the next 2 years. He stalls a ton and the crowd wants him dead! He finally attacks the kid with some fun musclehead strikes and throws, and he's better than i remember him being from this time period. Freddie Blassie walks out to watch and claps for him. Wonderful hits a flying knee drop and the Piledriver to win
**

Match#4 Tito Santana vs Israel Metia
Tito has a ton of fire this week as he sticks to strikes and armdrags, and it's way better than the arm work he's been doing. Forearm right to the top of the skull ends it
**

In a segment with a WWF magazine writer, Tito is interviewed about his chances to become a champion. He feels he can win the title with the help of the fans who love him very much.

Match#5 Don Muraco w/Lou Albano vs Buddy Donavan
Buddy is super fat and it makes Don beating him up very funny as it's a great bully moment. He shoulderblocks him at a point and sends him into the ropes in a horrible bump!! Piledriver ends the fun
**

Match#6 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs SD Jones
Sheiky humbles the worst motherfucker in the fed. BLESS. He breaks his neck, back and will and then fucks his ass with the Clutch.
*3/4

Match#7 Ivan Koloff vs Victor Mercado

Decent squash from Uncle Ivan. He's not great or anything, but he still packs a good punch and is better than some of the other showcased bums at this point. Flying Kneedrop to the back does it.
*1/2

WWF Championship Wrestling
November 19th, 1983

Match#1 Eddie Gilbert vs Bob Bradley

Bob tries to attack the neck, so Eddie snaps and punches and kicks the hell out of him, and he gets the amazing look in his eyes that he'll have as a heel in a decade. Bob manages to send him into the buckles to take over and locks in a full nelson for a while, and it's tight as hell and Eddie's fight to get out is wonderful. He finally counters and kills Bob with the running kneelift to win
**

Match#2 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Denny Hil
Sheiky fucks and humbles a hill. He hits a gross gutbuster, and just beats the piss out of the poor guy. Clutch ends it
**

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Mark Mattox
This week, Albano walks out and watches Paul do his wonderful thing. Orndorff beats the fuck out of this dope, and it's truly mean as hell. Nasty knees and punches, and lots of shots to the head and neck. Piledriver gets it done
**

In a pre-tape, Vince is with Don Muraco. Don says Mike Sharpe is a man, a truly great man who can and will give him every ounce of blood, sweat and tears that he could possibly want. Sadly, i don't have any footage of this.

Match#4 Don Muraco w/Lou Albano vs Steve Lombardi
Don's turn to beat Lombardi's ass. The fans chant "beach bum" and chant for Snuka, so Don snaps and murders our hero. He breaks out the knee drop to the neck, and then the Piledriver to end it
**

They bring back the WWF magazine segment from ASW. This time, Lou is the guest. He gets mad about the article calling him a black sheep when it comes to his family. He is a creative Italian American who has 14 tag champions, and this is slander and lies. He says he admired and respected by the fans, and the magazine is lying about him.

Match#5 Tito Santana vs Bill Berger
Tito cooks and eats the berger with some fireeeeeee. Incredible barrage of strikes and all that fire we love him for. Nasty running forearm gets it
**

Match#6 Sgt Slaughter vs SD Jones
Sarge is tasked with carrying this goof for nearly 7 minutes. He sells for his bad offence before he takes over and kicks the snot out of the maggot. Sarge reverses a cradle into one of his own to win.
*3/4

Match#7 Samula vs Rudy Diamond

Samu gets 3 minutes to play and is on one tonight with some really good strikes and wildman antics. He even breaks out a brainbuster just to do it! Flying headbutt does the job

WWF AT THE SPECTRUM
November 24th, 1983
Philadelphia, PA

Oh great, another Philly house show. Lord, beer me strength

Match#1 Tony Garea vs Rene Goulet
Christ. Hogan showing up is going to blow it all up as we know, but my biggest hope is once the boom happens is all the shitty idiots will go away and we won't have suffer openers like this. Bad boring wrestling for a while, and i can't imagine anyone being insane enough to enjoy this, or seek it out. In a cool moment, the Philly fans flip Goulet off, and it warms my heart. Wish they'd storm the ring and kill them both, but that's enough for now. Goulet's control is fine by itself, but Garea's terrible selling and even worse attempted comebacks brings it all crumbling down. Rene locks in an Iron Claw, and somewhere Fritz beats his kids some more. Tony wins with a terrible crossbody block when Rene tries to catch him with the claw.
Chris Von Erich being left out of his own families biopic

Match#2 The Tonga Kid vs Charlie Fulton
Oh awesome, Charlie is being used again, just what i wanted. This sucks and is far too long at nearly 6 minutes. Charlie adds nothing to it, and TK can only do so much with this oaf. Sunset flip ends the pain
1/2*

Match#3 SD Jones vs Butcher Vachon

Please kill me. A main even in any country...this is not. Butcher works a shitty lazy style because fuck working hard, even more against SD. Jones makes a bad comeback and wins with two bad headbutts
FML

Match#4 Sgt Slaughter vs Tony Atlas

Gino swoons over Tony's body and how much he works out, and holy shit it's so gross and lame. Sarge stalls and stooges a lot, because why work hard against Tony. (are you sensing a theme?) Tony finally attacks him and has a hideous run of offence, and poor Sarge sells because he's the best. Sarge takes over and puts in 50% effort on his control seg, but it still rocks because he's very good at pro wrestling. Tony's comeback is terrible as hell as he refuses to sell and all his offence is bad. Sarge thankfully cuts him off with a lariat and locks in the Clutch. Tony survives it far too long and even gets to the ropes, but Sarge kicks him out of the ring and they fight to a double counout.
**

Post match, Tony beats him up and slams him. Fuck off

Match#5 Don Muraco & Lou Albano vs Jimmy Snuka & Arnold Skaaland
No idea why Arnold is here instead of Buddy Rodgers. He's old as fuck and in terrible shape, and almost makes Albano look good in comparison. This also goes for 13 fucking minutes in a baffling choice. Like, just run the proper match again and don't stink it up with this nonsense. Snuka/Don is at least great again, but it's ruined by Skaaland getting ring time and actual offence on Don. it's just a baffling thing to watch, and i hate it all. The AWA and NWA raids can't come quick enough. Albano has to attack the old man from behind so Don can take over. FUCK OFF. Snuka gets the hot tag and beats the crap out of Albano, and the big man blades like a madman, and i love him. It all breaks down and Snuka pins Don with a crossbody off the top
3/4*

Match#6 Rocky Johnson vs Bob Bradley

Holy fuck, this show is horrible. Lots of stalling and barley any offence from either man. They finally engage and Rocky quickly wins with a sunset flip.
Die Rocky Die

Match#7 Bob Backlund (c) vs The Iron Sheik (WWF World Championship)

It beings!!! Awesome battle for control to start and Sheiky manages to suplex him and take him down, and Bob looks thrown off for once!! He keeps his head though, and locks in a full nelson. It's simple and effective as hell, and Sheik fights like hell for a few minutes trying to get out of it. He finally does and grabs the arm and works that for a while, and it's good stuff, but it's clearly one of those first matches where they aren't giving anything big away, so they kind of just riff for a while. They spend the next few minutes fighting over control. and Bob slips in a backslide to win clean
**1/4

Match#8 Big John Studd vs Tito Santana

Tito tries to chop down the tree by rushing in and attacking, but the big man catches him and beats his ass when he can't get away in time. Good control seg with some sweet shoulderblocks and hard clubbering, and good Tito selling for it all. Santana makes a sweet comeback with all that fire in his body. Studd ends up on the apron, and holds onto Tito and the ref weirdly counts him out. Ok, then
**

Match#9 The Invaders vs Mr Fuji & Iron Mike Sharpe.

Random as hell, but any Ironman is good with me. The big man gets a run of offence and beats the shit out of them before they shut him down, and one of them pins him with a cradle. OK FUCKING THEN
3/48*

Match#10 Pat Patterson vs Ivan Koloff

Finally, the main event so we can move on with our lives. Ivan attacks him with the chain and beats his ass in fun old man fashion, and Patterson can still go better than most even after a couple years of inactivity. They fight on the outside and Ivan gets sent into the post and Patterson smacks him with a chair to bust him open. Pat beats the hell out of the cut and fucks Ivan up to the point where the ref finally calls it.
**1/2

One of the worst shows i've ever seen. Fuck you

Match#1 The Invaders vs Bob Bradley & Ken Jugan

Very good showcase for the killers. Like i said, they're smooth as hell and a breath of fresh air in this dead ass division. Gross powerbomb does it
**

Match#2 Masked Superstar vs Hank Hudson

Another sick one for the big man. He has a series of gross shots a big ole jobber, and then CRACKS him with a motherfucker of a lariat and the neckbreaker to win
**

In a pre-tape, Vince is with Sheik and Blassie. They're going to fuck and humble Bob and take the title back to Iran on the 26th of December.

Match#3 Don Muraco w/Lou Albano vs John Callahan
Only a minute and change, but still rad as hell. Spike Tombstone gets it
*

Match#4 Salvator Belomo vs Israel Metia

Decent little squash for Sal. Nothing great or anything, but good pro wrestling for a couple of minutes. Crossbody off the top does it
*

Match#5 Mr Fuji vs Tony Garea

Fuji won me over in his last few matches, but Tony is a piece of shit, so this is very bad and lame. They fight on the outside and Tony gets in and wins via countout
1/2*

Match#6 The Wild Samoans (c) w/Lou Albano vs Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson (WWF World Tag Team Championships)

Fun babyface shine to start with the fellas looking the best they have, well, ever. The Samoans take wild bumps for them and it's good stuff. Sadly, it all breaks down shortly after and the ref calls for a double DQ when they won't stop fighting.
*3/4

Match#7 Jimmy Snuka vs Charlie Fulton.

Bad showcase for Jimmy as he works the arm and is really lazy and bad at it, and i have no idea where the cool wildman squashes went. But, fuck him. Splash ends it

poop

Match#1 Sgt Slaughter vs Steve Lombardi

Sarge is getting a slightly nicer reaction from the crowd this week. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Good stuff from our American Hero as always. Sucks that Sarge will be gone in a year and we won't get him back until 90, but i'll adore what we have. Clutch ends it.
*3/4

Match#2 Eddie Gilbert vs Bill Berger

Hot Stuff cooks the and eats the burger this week. Fine little outing for the kid, but he's nearing the time where he needs to leave and grow and become something else. Eddie wins with a shitty Lou Thez Press
3/4*

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Ken Jugan

Wonderful showing for Paul. Smooth and crisp offence, and some great taunting of the crowd. He launches the kid out of the ring onto the concrete in a gross bump, and i love this man so much when it comes to squashes. Blassie walks out to watch this week. Piledriver does the deed.
**

Match#4 Tito Santana vs Rene Goulet

Tito squashes this fucker, and all is well in the world for a moment. Tito beats the old man's ass with some awesome offence, including a wonderful rana over the ropes. Forearm ends it
**

In the WWF magazine segment, Masked Superstar is the guest. The interview says the neckbreaker should be outlawed according to fans because it's so dangerous. MS says he doesn't care about the fans and he's here to get ahead and win the title and make more money.

Match#5 Masked Superstar vs Ken Gill
MS works and kills the kids neck as a wonderful fuck you to the pussy fans not wanting him to do it anymore. Neckbreaker gets him the win

Match#1 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Jimmy Jackson

Sheiky fucks and humbles another kid on his way to the title. Camel Clutch breaks a back
*3/4

Post match, IRAN NUMBER 1. AMERICAN *SPITS*

Match#2 Paul Orndorff vs Chuck Tanner
Paul is surpassing everyone as the best squash guy in the company. He's brutal as shit as he batters the holy hell out of the this poor kid, and it looks like a snuff film at points with how bad the beating gets. Piledriver ends the murder
**

Match#3 Masked Superstar vs The Tonga Kid

Oh shit, a real match on TV. MS runs through him pretty easily, but i'm still happy we got this. Neckbreaker gets MS the win
*3/4

WWF magazine segment with Sgt Slaughter. Sarge says he does in the ring is what he did in the army, and he did to protect all the people who hate him. He is a man's man, and no one belongs in the ring with him if they can't give a battle worthy of fighting him.

Match#4 The Wild Samoans (c) w/Lou Albano vs Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson (WWF World Tag Team Championships-No DQ)
Fuck yeah. Another crazy brawl kicks us off and the babyfaces finally look good and bring some fucking fire to a goddamn fight. We get clipped and the Samoans are controlling Rocky, and it's good times as always, and Rocky actually sells well and has good attempted comebacks. Insane shit to see. Tony's hot tag isn't amazing or anything, but he even tries hard and the monsters bump well for him to cover his shoddy offence. Tony slams one of them, but the ref gets knocked down as well and Lou comes in with a chair to brain Atlas, BUT HE DUCKS AND THE SAMOAN EATS IT AND TONY JUMPS ON TOP AND GETS THE 3. HOLY SHIT YEAH.
**1/2

Post match, the crowd goes INSANE and it's a wonderful, wonderful thing to see. Albano consoles his monsters, and one of them still has the broken chair around his head. AMAZING.

At ringside, Patterson interviews the new champs! Rocky screams he told them this would happen, and they are the first black tag champs of the world! Incredible moment, and something truly special.

Wonderful stuff as always, and i can't wait for his 84 and the feuds with Don and Valentine. Forearm cracks him dead
**

Match#2 Ivan Koloff vs Steve Lombardi
Short one for the old man, and it's for the best. Knee to the back does it
3/4*

Match#3 Iron Mike Sharpe w/Lou Albano vs Tony Garea

This is not the real match anyone wanted, Vince. Just bad pro wrestling from Tony, and mike can only do so much with this stupid asshole. Mike hits a gross loaded forearm, but he doesn't pin him, and Tito walks to ringside to watch. Mike hits another, but doesn't pin again and Tito gets pissed. Mike hits another one, AND TITO JUMPS IN AND KILLS MIKE WITH THE FOREARM FOR THE DQ
1/2*

Post match, Tito drags Tony to safety as Mike and Lou lose their shit. Patterson walks over and tries to talk to them, but Albano slaps Mike and screams he should be doing what he's told, and he walks out on him. OH SHIT. Mike is confused, but he demands a match with Tito next week so he can knock his head off.

Match#4 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Nick DeCarlo
fucking, humbling, back breaking etc
*3/4

WWF Magazine segment, which is now called Victory Corner. Bob Backlund is the guest. Bob talks about inspiring kids to be good humans and to join a wrestling school. He wants them to be champions in their hearts.

Before the next match with Snuka, Albano walks out and says something to the jobber, and Jimmy storms off and he brings out Andre the Giant. Andre headbutts Albano and the crowd loses it as Andre chases him away.

Match#5 Jimmy Snuka vs Tony Russo
Jimmy wins in 10 seconds with the splash,
1/2*

Well, that was all very odd, but it also ruled so hell yeah.

Match#6 Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson vs Rene Goulet & Hugh Hudson
Decent little squash for the new champs as they continue to very slowly improve. Sunset flip ends it

Tito is mad about last week and takes it on a big old jobber in quick fasion. Last Supper does it in maybe 70 seconds
3/4*

At ringside, Patterson is with Tito. They go over the challenge of last week, and if Tito accepts. Tito accepts for next week.

Match#2 Sgt Slaughter vs Nick DeCarlo
Also a quick one for Sarge. makes it easier to watch, but it doesn't make for a great squash. Clutch ends it
3/4*

Match#3 Paul Orndorff vs Mercado

Awesome shit from Paul at least this week. Piledriver kills the poor guy
*3/4

In a pre-tape, Blassie says he won't be getting anything for Christimas as his real present is coming on the 26th when Sheik beats Backlund,

Match#4 The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie vs Chuck Tanner
Lots of gross work on the ribs this week, and it's really great to see him mix things up and not get lazy as can happen. Camel fucks an ass
**

Match#5 Don Muraco vs Charlie Brown
Don also gets fucked for time, and i now i'm mad. Shoulderbreaker gets in a minute

Bob Backlund (c) w/Arnold Skaaland vs The Iron Sheik w/Freddie Blassie (WWF World Championship)
Gino explains that Sheik attacked Bob with the Persian clubs and fucked up his shoulder, so now Bob is badly hurt. Sheik rushes him and beats the crap out of the bad arm, and it's wonderful work. Sheik is sweating like a motherfucker, and i can only imagine how much coke he snorted after this. Bob tries to fight back but his arm is cooked, and he can never fully mount one and Sheik is able to beat him back and keep control. Sheik controls for the next few minutes and Bob fails and fails to fight back, and we get a shot of a worried Arnold at ringside. Bob fucks up his neck when he tries a fancy rollup, and Sheik locks in the Camel Clutch!!!!! AND THAT FUCKING BITCH ARNOLD SKAALAND THROWS IN THE TOWEL AND THE IRON SHEIK WINS THE WORLD TITLE. FUCK YES
**3/4

IRAN. IRAN. IRAN.

Backstage, Backlund is crying his eyes out and says he feels like he let his country down.

Awesome angry murder from the form champs. Sadly, they don't cut Tony's head off and eat it, but they do kick some ass and it's enough. Headbutt to SD ends it
**

AT RINGSIDE, MEAN GENE DEBUTS. OH MY GOD YES. He's with Muraco, and speaks about Patterson challenging for the IC title. Don says Patterson's highlights put him to sleep as he's the most boring person he's ever met in his life. Gene asks about his wrestling skills, and Muraco laughs his balls off and says he's boring.

AND THEN PAUL ORNDORFF AND RODDY FUCKING PIPER WALK ON, BUT THE SCREEN CUTS. FUCK YOU. BUT HOLY SHIT, IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER.

Match#2 Paul Orndorff vs Steve Lombardi
Paul murders him in 30 seconds and wins with the Piledriver
WONDERFUL

At ringside, Patterson interviews Wonderful. Paul says all the fans booing him need to keep their mouths shut because he doesn't need it. He's in this WWF area to be the best in the world, and he'll do whatever it takes to win a match. If that means he retires someone, then he'll do it.

We now go to a video of Vince talking about Sheik's title win, and how Backlund is disputing the loss as never gave up, and he never would have quit. Skaaland gets what he deserves in 11 years. (holy shit, we got a lot to cover). i should also note that Lord Alfred Hayes makes his debut interviewing Backlund.

Match#3 Sgt Slaughter vs Charlie Brown
Fun one for the maggot killer. Good neck work and a killer beating for a couple of minutes before the Clutch ends it
**

Victory Corner w/Tito Santana. He loves the fans, and he really loves the female fans showing him some love. FUCK YEAH TITO

Match#4 Masked Superstar vs Nick DeCarlo
Quick one for MS, sadly. Neckbreaker in about 40 seconds
Poop

Match#5 Tito Santana vs Iron Mike Sharpe

Sick punch off to start and Tito gets the best of it when he goes nuts and unloads a ton of shots to the face!! Tito keeps kicking his ass until Mike drops his face on the ropes to take over. Good shit from Iron as always, and he cracks Tito with the loaded forearm, but he gets distracted by the fans chanting wimp at him, and Tito gets a flash Forearm to knock him out of the ring. Tito wins via countout when Mike walks out.
