Watching the episode now, and honestly who knows what is true. I've heard about the whole H bomb thing where they'd drug someone so they'd pass out. In fact Brutus Beefcake claimed a tag team would h bomb women and have their way with them. That shit was the most disturbing to me.

The whole Tommy Dreamer thing to me was just a foolish thing to say in today's culture, like bro really? You have to know shit like that won't fly. His comments basically were saying she was lying about the situation. Even if you felt that way you have nothing to gain by saying it. Even Tommy saying that it was a different time back then is so tone deaf.

If anyone is surprised by any of this I don't know how you could be.

This whole thing to me just shows you how many of these guys had severe substance abuse problems, and WWE just let it happen because they were superstars. Sounds to me like it was a ticking time bomb.

I do agree, and with Renee as of late exposing all of his past and all especially about Undertaker, who is a major person the Kanyon saga, for a lack of a better term so. I do think some wrestlers will backpedal because of who will be involved, but I could be wrong. As well, I am looking to see how many bring up Pat or Darren Young, or anyone on that line as some sort of "gotcha", when there is no comparison with Pat since he was/is a made man, so he is untouchable. Though if I remember right, he would force younger talent to strip naked in front him and some other things, but I could be wrong.

Pat Patterson's allegations have, for the most part, been widey discredited by people within the company at the time. I think people point to Roddy Piper as saying he was molested by Patterson, but Piper himself IIRC denied the allegations.

Yeah they fired Pat because he was implicated in it, and because of the whole homosexual panic that came out of it at the time. Vince is known for doing so much shady shit like protecting Jimmy Snuka, but I'm fairly certain Vince brought back Pat because Vince knew he didn't do anything wrong.
