I think there was some kind of miscommunication somewhere, so let me start by saying just like I was saying I don’t think Punk was involved with this I don’t think the Elite were involved with any of this nonsense either to be clear. But Dave Meltzer is very much in their outer camp as far as he’s like their dirt sheet cheerleader in the same way that Nick is for punk. My point is that he’s reporting three months later after punk left nonsense about how stuff in AEW is still his fault and it’s just hilarious to me.

I actually don't think Meltzer is a mouthpiece for the elite and hasn't been for a while, though. My theory for quite some time is he lost most of his sources in AEW and it's one of the reason why he's been increasingly hypercritical and speculative.

You know, I was going to mention that next. I was wondering what an NDA entails because yeah, I would definitely think any public confirmation of anything in the situation would constitute a violation of it.

As for the signing the new deal and moving on, I 100% agree. We will not agree on this next thing, but I don’t personally think this has anything to do with Punk. I think he is moving on, but I think the camps that surround him and the elite are so entrenched in this back-and-forth non-war so they can’t let it go. It’s like Dave Meltzer trying to blame punk for Jackson’s wife leaving or whatever. It’s like let it go already.

That’s fair, but it’s kind of like an indirect because of this thing that happened with Punk a year ago, Jackson’s wife is leaving the company. I agree the blame is placed on AEW as much. Which gives Jeff’s point some credence as far being more critical of AEW over something that happened there.
