We all have a list of our favorite debuts in wrestling throughout the years, but have we ever sat down and pondered what the best wrestling debut of all time was? Whether it was hyped or unexpected, what do you think was the best debut in professional wrestling history?

Whenever I think of wrestling debuts, I instantly think of Scott Hall debuting in WCW. It may be a bit biased, seeing as how I'm a huge Hall mark but it was an epic debut. Everyone thought Hall was still signed with WWE and was invade WCW. "You Know Who I am, But you Don't know Why I'm here" sticks out as one of my favorite quotes in wrestling to this day.

As far as WWE goes don't think it gets any better than Kane's debut because he became a main part of the show already from jump going into a feud with one of the biggest stars in Taker and got lucky enough to have a nice backstory to it and got over.

For some reason always loved Angle's debut in TNA. Going in and headbutting the company's biggest badass was, for lack of a better phrase, bad ass.

For me it has to be Kane without a doubt. Not everyone rips a door off of a cell and attacks one of the biggest stars in the promotion on his first night. This then lead to one of the most historic feuds in wrestling. Plus Kane had the look, the first time I saw him I was genuinely freaked out (I was a kid), but even as a grew up he had this menacing look. Until 2003 anyway.

The Nexus debut, that was just an event that shocked the world.

Chris Jericho's because it was so long awaited, and well played with a great gimmick. And against the Rock no less.

Sting's crow character debut.

Kane. I'll always remember him ripping the door off of it's hinges in the first HiaC

The nWo

Oh yeah, the Shockmaster for sure.

For real though probably KANE, it was pretty much perfectly planned with a touch of nWo.

I also like Del Rio's awesome first night on SmackDown! and well Umaga made a pretty big impact with Armando at his side his first night on Raw to throw out some good ones that weren't mentioned.

Brock Lesner for me, seeing this giant of a person jump in the ring and kick the fuck out of spike was insane

YES... someone remembers Brock's debut. He came in that ring... and just dominated. Triple powerbombed spike dudley, f5 folks. Took out 3 guys by himself.

Not saying his was the best... but his has to rank up there cause that was just a freakin good debut. It really puts you out there as a beast.

This might come as a surprise, but Great Khali.

Man, this GIANT just came out and owned the Undertaker. That was a wonderful way to start off.

That is a good one to bring up and made him someone to take seriously until we saw what he could actually do in the ring, lol.

This isn't the best or anything but I think it's worth mentioning Punk's WWE debut on ECW. Was great in terms of the crowd love he got for his debut and the match was pretty solid too.
