AJ Styles Returning To ROH!

For those who have asked, the 1/4/14 AJ Styles return at the Nashville Fairgrounds TV Taping is not Styles' only date with Ring of Honor. He won't be signing with the company but is slated for additional dates in 2014. They will be announced in due time. Styles' reps literally reached out to ROH late Friday/early Saturday to lock the deal for his return in place. In my interview with Styles last week in the Elite section, he noted that a return to ROH was on the table and noted that at one point, he almost left TNA for ROH when TNA forced him to choose one or the other and it was a hard decision not to remain with ROH at the time, but TNA was offering more dates per year.
With the addition of Styles and Chris Hero to the regulars on the ROH roster, that's a pretty nice piece of momentum the company has picked up in the last few weeks.

Can't remember where I read it, but they said TNA wanted to cut AJ's salary to 20,000$ per year and he would earn 4000$ per show at other promotion so he'd earn about 8000-12000$ more a year and that's why he's now a free agent...

I read that they wanted to move AJ to a pay per appearance deal and not give him a guaranteed amount of dates as well.

That's why he left, bro. He was paid over 300000$ a year with his previous contract and I guess he also thinks deserves way more than that so he wanted to earn way more, or at least more than 200K a year...

Nope, just missed one zero... Found the site where I read it, it clearly says 200.000$ per year.

It turns out that AJ Styles was making $350,000 per year with TNA Impact Wrestling and the company asked him to take a pay cut down to $200,000 a year. Styles would have to make $4,000 a week on the independent scene just to match those numbers, so it appears that the disagreement was not really about the money, but about the respect.

Didn't remember it well so some of the things I said weren't 100% what the report really says, so yeah... My fault.

Well, I'm hearing Styles had been earning around 800.000k, and wanted that number raised to 7 numbers, and that's why it was a no go from TNA.

But, various reports on the internite are everyday thing, everyone chooses what to believe.
