Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite
averaged 877,000 viewers on TBS, up 5.3 percent from last week. It's the second-largest audience total for the show since February 22.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished sixth on the cable charts with a 0.30 rating. That's up 7.1 percent from last week and is also Dynamite's second-highest rating since February 22.
There was strong competition from NBA basketball, which would have hit Dynamite particularly hard on the West Coast with the late game. The late game topped the cable charts with a 0.68 rating in 18-49 and averaged 1.66 million viewers. The early game finished third with a 0.37 rating and 1.1 million viewers.
Dynamite's ratings were even or up from last week in every category. The biggest increase came in the 18-34 demo, which was up 9.5 percent from last week.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite was down 11.3 percent in overall viewers and down 21.1 percent in 18-49.
AEW All Access, which aired on TBS immediately after Dynamite, averaged 339,000 viewers and finished 33rd on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo. Those were nearly identical to last week's numbers of 328,000 viewers and the same 0.11 rating in 18-49.
