I think the first ROH show should go like this:

Open Promo with Dragon talking about how happy he is about ROH making it to TV, and how he's been here since day 1, and that he deserves a championship match. Nigel comes out and the 2 get into an argument that leads to a fight, which leads to Dragon low blowing Nigel, and holding the World Title in the air.

Match 1
American Wolves beat Steenerico via heelish tatics.

Quick Re-Cap of the Bricoes and all the shit they've done in ROH

Match 2
KENTA Defeats Austin Aries
Aries gets on the mic and shits on the fans after the loss.

Match 3
Jerry Lynn vs. American Dragon ends in a No Contest after Nigel beats the shit out of both of them midway through the match.

Main Event
Tyler Black Defeats Jacobs in a no DQ match

That sounds good and all....but its only a 40 minute show after commercials. I just can't see them fitting in 4 great matches and a segment.

On top of that, they are taping 3 shows in one night, Which means if they put their whole roster on one night, there wouldn't be anything for the next two weeks shows.

By looking at what they've booked, they have some lackluster main events geared up for TV. They should be good matches, but its a LONGSHOT from being a big show. I think they've save the really good stuff for PPV/DVD.

Here are the match times for the first 3 shows.

TV TAPING SHOW ONE

1. Jerry Lynn vs Delirious 5:40

2. Kenny King vs Sami Callahan 5:40 (same as above)

3. Brent Albright vs Rhett Titus 6:33

4. Tyler Black vs Jimmy Jacobs 13:50

TV TAPING SHOW TWO

5. Kevin Steen vs Eddie Edwards 7:54

6. Sara Del Ray vs Daizee Haze 5:29

7. Claudio Castagnolli vs Sugarfoot Alex Payne 6:24

8. Nigel McGuinness vs Jay Briscoe 12:06

TV TAPING SHOW THREE

9. Erick Stevens vs Sterling James Keenan 6:50

10. Dark City Fight Club vs Cheech and Cloudy 2:54

11. Chris Hero vs Necro Butcher 8:21

12. American Dragon Bryan Danielson vs Austin Aries 14:29

About 31+ minutes of wrestling on the first show.
More or less the same for the 2nd show.
About 32+ minutes of wrestling for the 2nd show.

More than half of the show will apparently be wrestling (For all 3 shows). Say what you will about the changes, but it seems that ROH will focus on what made them popular in the first place... The wrestling.

Last nights show was pretty good especially the final TV taping. Necro was over like hell. Everyone started cheering "where's your oscar"

Its good to see everybody getting in match time and its great to hear that they are focussing on the wrestling rather then what they have been doing as of late, basing it mostly on whats gonna happen and the next show and everything. Also, good to see that the main events of each show get a good amount of time, over a 1/4 of the show each show by the looks of things which is good. TV tapings look like they were well done :y:

i can't complain on the lengths of those matches..

You can't give out too much out on free tv.. but you can't make things too short in which make matches hard to get into...

Nigel vs KENTA has been signed as the main event for ROH's 7th anniversary show.

About damn time, to be honest. This will be the first one on one encounter between both men.

That's a HUGE match. Well worthy of the 7th anniversary show. Nigel's biggest defense next to Danielson.

Thats good to hear, something fresh for Nigel and as SP said they have never faced each other one on one which also makes this match interesting. You wouldn't think KENTA would win though but he could be a possibility of taking the title. Should be good.

It seems we will get a pretty big match the night before as well.

March 20th, Elizabeth, PA at Court Time Sports Center,KENTA & El Generico vs. Nigel McGuinness & Davey Richards

A lot of little storylines going into this match. Generico has taken Nigel to the limit in the past, and he was taken out by Richards so Generico will be out for revenge. Meanwhile, Davey was a protege of KENTA during his first ROH run, and this will be the first time they lock up as a face and a heel respectively.

Hopefully, this tag match leads to a Davey-KENTA match further down the road.

And speaking of Davey, here's one of his recent matches in Japan. He teamed up with Roderick Strong and Buchanan (Lol, B2) to take on Akira Taue, Marufuji and Atsushi Aoki.
