- It appears that WWE is working towards referee Scott Armstrong working with Randy Orton and his Legacy group. On tonight's RAW, Armstrong counted to three in Orton's match with Kane when it clearly was a two count, as shown on the replays. Armstrong, who would be considered second generation, walked away from the ring like nothing had happened, ignoring Kane's pleas.

Maybe they're doing something with Orton, Rhodes and Manu employing the services of the second generation referee. Armstrong is the older son of Bob Armstrong and the brother of Brad, Steve and Brian (BG James in TNA). Armstrong has wrestled over the years but has refereed for WWE since 2006, after having stints with WCW and TNA

This adds a nice twist onto things. I wouldn't say it is another storyline because I dont think it will centre around this...it will just be kind of an ongoing thing!

Ha, that'd actually be pretty cool. Can't remember it being done in years, if ever.

Yeah I really wouldn't call it another storyline. It's just continuous on the Legacy stable/storyline. Not another storyline it self. But on the news, I think it'd be interesting to see how it pans out with a ref in the stable. I didn't watch WCW so I don't know how it went when the NWO had Nick Patrick I think as their ref. so I don't know how it will be.

On another note, I wonder if they are going have the ref (if he is in the stable) referee all of there matches. And if they do, I wonder if people are going to criticize wwe like they were TNA with Shane Sewell always refereeing Bashir's matches, knowing they don't get along and a confrontation was known to break out. Unless Legacy says they will only wrestle if they have Armstrong as the ref.

LOL... It was well funny when WWE totally bitched him out during the Invasion! :roll2:

One notable thing about this report however is that the journalist doesn't seem to be aware that Manu got ditched by Orton 2 weeks ago...

Way to dent your credibility, Mr Hack!!!

wow, i truely thought that he messed up. he probably did and then the Creative team realized that he is 2nd Gen and thought, why the hell not and threw him in there. itll be interesting especially if they dont really say that hes apart of it. just have him always ref their matches. show segments backstage where one of the three is talking to someone and we cant see who it is.

Just as long as they don't have the "mystery" member (it would be Armstrong) come out in a Druid robe and then reveal himself to be the Highe....:eek5:

Okay, I'll stop now. As painful as that was. We can all calm down and take a deep breath after that memory rape.

Wait. The source is impactwrestling.com? As in, somebody on this site made it up?

I like the idea alot.. It's something new (to me at least) could be interesting on how it pans out.

Charles Robinson was Little Naitch, I'd definitely mark if this Armstrong bloke was the 'Match Killer' or something of the like.

this could end up being something interesting to see on the side with Orton... having problems with a specific ref and stuff. I think it's a cool idea, wwe should run with it

The base site (impactwrestling.com) is a news site. Mark owns the domain, thus why he is an admin here (I think that's right >_>).

Orton has been nWofied. Guess it's alright though. I doubt it was a mistake, which is what someone said earlier. They would just ignore it if it was a mistake, and pretend there was no fuck up.
