I've come to deal with the fact that you can't be blunt or unfair without being jumped upon by some people here.

this could be good for the section, but I don't want this going like the World Cup. Deciding who wins should be tough if you decide to go through with this, though.

Its a pretty good idea, it would be interesting but hard to go through with, it could be a great idea but we would need comfirmation of going through with this and other little rules and stuff before we would know how it would turn out. Team IPW! :shifty:

I figure the easiest way of doing it would be to make the matches randomly. Then the writers of the matches could not be from the two BTB's in the match (for the reason of fairness). The writer of the match decides the winner. Excludeing the not from the BTB rule, that's how Brian, Madden, and I wrote the Trios Tournament and it worked out fine. BTW, you guys should go check that out (yay cheap plug).

The only problem would be finding someone to put it all together and edit it, which I'd be happy to do if nobody else wanted to do it.

PS. Well, this tournament have a 50% chance of failing but trying one wouldn't hurt us much right. I just thought of an idea how to make the section alive. I only need some guys who could help me do this especially those guys who want their BTB's to be in this tourney.

The reason in which I can see it failing is on how to decide the winners. I mean, if it is done by voting, it will end up being a popularity contest, and if the winner is chosen by the writter, at some point there would be some bias

I think the Lounge is fine. I still post threads from time to time, so it won't get lost in the shuffle of this thread. But without anything like a Magazine and Rankings, that's why it's been slow.

The Magazine is a failure, as is the P10. Anything that's worthwhile may as well be posted in here. You're only making the section look worse by having an entire sub-forum of inactivity.

Yeah this thread is really the only thread that people post in, you could just move these and sticky them in the BTB section and take away this sub section...I dunno.

To the Tournament thing: We could decide winners like this, out of the BTB teams in the Tourney, there are 8 teams right. Have two guys face off and make them right a match for their team and whoever they are facing, make people decide which guy writes the best match and then they win or something. I dunno, this could fail badly or bring life to the section. But if we do go through with it, I've got Randy Orton, Kurt Angle and Shawn Micheals

^ I think we could do his idea, or maybe we let 3 guys (who isn't in the Tourney) to decide who will win the match basing on the company's wrestler and then let the winner write the match?

What we don't need is bias. I already know a LOT of people hate Batista, and since he's on my team, they'd probably be like, "Oh he sucks, this team shouldn't win," and this goes for the other teams as well.
