What were you doing before 9-11 happened?

I was only 9 years old, I was in 4th grade. It happened while I was in school. The teachers turned on the televisions throughout the whole school. Like 20 minutes later. My mother came to get me. I was called to the office. The hallways were deserted, and as I was on my way to the office. All I could hear was 9-11 coverage. It was dead silence in the school.

When I got to the office to meet up with my mother, it seemed like everybody was crying.

When I got home, everybody was silent(and older then me). I tried playing around with my brothers but I was ignored.

So I went to my room, mad because I felt neglected. So I locked the door, turned off the lights, layed down, and turned on my PS2 and started playing Dark Cloud. I didn't play for long, I eventually turned on the news and watched it because everybody else was until I fell asleep.

You?

I was like 6/7 at the time and at home. It was like really early in the morning and I was like sick so I was staying home from school. I went to turn on the TV to watch cartoons but all the channels were reporting the bombings and I remember that I got really pissed because I wanted to watch the shows, lol. Also, throughout the whole day, nobody would talk to me or tell me what happened but I found out for myself. In Australia, the impact was not as large so the commotion around my family was not so big.

Youtube comments are a bitch, you kill time by watching interesting theories and conspiracies and everybody starts sharing their stories in the comments section.

Thus this thread was born.

I was in the 4th grade when this happen. The classroom that I was in was facing Manhattan. So when I turned around, I seen a plane crashing into the the World Trade Center and I seen it go into flames and collapse. Next thing I know, we had our parents coming up to the school and picking us up cause they was afraid that something might happen to us.

I was in 11th grade and I was sitting in English class. The principal announced over the intercom that a plane hit the World Trade Center and I said "The let those pilots fly drunk again didn't they?" The teacher started crying because he (yes, he was fresh out of college and a douchebag too) had a cousin who was a pilot (he wasn't involved though). Since there was no TV in there, we went across the hall to the Spanish classroom and saw the 2nd plane hit.

On another note, 2 days later, I was in a Spencer's Gifts and they had Halloween stuff out already, and I picked up some fake body parts and I said to my friends "hey look! Freshly imported from New York." We were subsequently kicked out because some lady found it offensive (she's right, you should be able to shop for dildos in peace....she had one in her hand). that lady then followed us around the mall and tried to get us kicked out of every other store.

I was in 10th grade and I was sitting in English class (Seriously). I was taking a test, my History teached rushed into the classroom and told us what happened. I said: Wow, that sucks. Then I continued doing the test.

I was 19, and fast asleep. Probably crashed hard the night before 'cause I recall my Mom calling me and telling me to stay away from certain places downtown because she was afraid of Ottawa potentially being hit too. Other than that I went to the bar around the corner from me, the Wall Street Bar and Grill. (I always found that kinda ironic) drank and discussed conspiracy theories until none of us made sense any longer.

Yes, MS. I wish I had that "one last flight" :shifty: eating popcorn and watching an action movie (Snakes on plane) "Eventhough it was not produced at the time yet" Then I want to know how it feels when colloiding with a building while wearing a tie and a brand new shoe :D Interesting theory tbh.
