Was it October/November when Jay White challenged MJF for the belt?

November. I remember cuz I ordered Full Gear for him to win.

Cause I remember MJF tweeted his Labrum was torn I think before the match with Joe.

But I can’t remember if it was before the Jay White match cause if it was then they should’ve just put the belt on White

My guess is after because I actually think putting the belt on Jay White would’ve made way more sense in retrospect. They could’ve made a whole thing about how it was a swerve when they attacked Jay White and it would’ve made way more sense because the Joe thing still makes no sense and knowing now that he was never supposed to be part of the plan until MJF got hurt, makes way more sense in the aftermath.

I think the labrum injury was known before Joe for sure - I think maybe he himself underestimated how long he may be out for however. I think Cole's injury taking this long is def worst case scenario and not what they were hoping for

I would love to hear Tony’s brain explode when he found out MJF got hurt because he was already stalling the angle waiting for Cole to be able to end the reign and then when he finds out that MJF can’t continue the reign and he hast to swerve to Joe Pun intended.

I'm still happy Joe got his run though and can say he won a world title in roh aew nxt and tna
