Yeah, Tony tried to stall it out and I think he did it a little longer than he should’ve been eventually someone must’ve talked to him and like yo we gotta kill this because all of our pieces are still missing and they’re not gonna anytime soon.
I think people forget that there was a piece missing from every side of this angle. Cole had to be taken off a TV because it was hurting his recovery like Chris said MJF apparently had lingering issues I didn’t even know about until after he dropped the belt and then people the one often forget about is juice also got hurt, who wants to see UK versus BCG when you don’t have the collision cowboy?

Jay White is just a natural heel though, so I’m definitely glad that he went back.
it's unfortunate that everything that was planned around MJF's defeat has been cursed - just bad luck too can't really blame anyone for anything. It's clear to me they wanted to elevate jay and other out of this while other stuff was going on in the main but ya it didn't work out that way
at least he confirmed they are unifying the titles thank goodness
They’ve been teasing Cole versus Jay for years so I have no doubts that will eventually see this feud but I’ll be honest I would much rather just be the full power BCG with white juice and the guns versus UK minus Wardlow hopefully by that point.
I'm almost certain Cole vs Jay was gonna happen after FD that first year, maybe even at All Out but Cole has been so god dang snakebitten man
It honestly fucking sucks because going back and watching some of those shows around all in last year before Cole got hurt and I am 100% convinced that Cole was going to defeat MJF at full gear probably is my guess maybe worlds end but he would’ve won, and then he would’ve revealed himself as the devil.
I think it had gone that way it would’ve been way better received and in my opinion would’ve been awesome because Adam Cole AEW champion needs to happen.

What a shame. Because I do think Cole and Jay White as a program is going to be lit television and then when they have the actual match, it’s going to bang.
Yep and I am positive now after looking at over the timeline post worlds end that that only happened because Adam Cole couldn’t challenge MJF at that point. I don’t think Samoa Joe was ever supposed to be part of the storyline until Cole got hurt.
Ok I’m trying to figure out timelines.
Cause I remember MJF tweeted his Labrum was torn I think before the match with Joe.
But I can’t remember if it was before the Jay White match cause if it was then they should’ve just put the belt on White

I can’t speak enough about how awesome the new Ring of Honor six man look though. Those belts are the best new ROH belts, hands-down.
