CM Punk on The MMA Hour

Kross Rhodes

Israel Has the Right to Exist

I said my timeline today has been nothing but this and dumb April fools jokes, and this motherfucker has to hit me with the double header. :krillin2

Apoho Creed

I'm the Doctor

Pretty crazy TK and Company pleading Punk to put Jack Perry in his place after he way he was acting Backstage. I'm surprised Joe didn't choke Jack Perry's ass himself. TK should of sent Perry's ass home immediately cussing out Staff and Talent acting like that.

We haven't heard Jack's side of the story tbh so would be curious to see what he has to say.

I watched the entirety of this interview.

My wife does not know who CM Punk is but overheard parts of it and she just randomly leaned over to me and said "he's a little bitch, isn't he?" Lol

I'm genuinely not on any side with Punk. He's never been my guy. It was a coup for AEW three years ago for sure...he has star power. And he's a coup for WWE now. Objectively I can see he draws.

One thing I just feel from watching more and more is that he just seems stuck.

He's stuck as the one single guy that came in the cracks and just landed smack bang in between eras and mentalities of the wrestling business. He came through and made it at a point in time where the older guys were still there and had the mentality of "butts in seats makes money, don't talk to the dirt sheets, discipline is important" (e.g. Taker, Trips, Benoit, Bradshaw, Holly, Heyman to a certain extent) and the newer generation coming through who use social media, are encouraged to talk to the sheets. He can't seem to find the right balance between the two. He complains about internet shit but then does the internet shit. He complains when people talk to the sheets but then does an interview with Helwani or SRS. He talks about discipline and sensible behaviour but then "chokes someone a bit". Talks about butts in seats and being there to make money but then talks about being able to leverage position on his contracts.

You're spot on here. If this post is a sample of what is to come you will be a valuable member to this forum.

My laugh was for the line about your wife saying "he's a little bitch".

I don't think that was in the complaint. But maybe Vince had others do it to him...
he literally used that phrase in his 1st or second promo in AEW (or it was in an press conference after the first ppv he did with darby).

edit: it might actually have been on his rant of the elite and not wwe actually - thats my bad! but he still said it and then did it to himself so the irony part is still valid
