My only fear few now, though is, if anthem is tightening the purse again he might not win because they might want to just write him back off into the sunset.

He's always been a guy who walks to the beat of his own drum, I would find it a little unlikely that he dwells on that decision at all. Especially considering his connection to Omega and Jericho that makes him extremely unlikely to ever get cut in my mind.
Oh for sure, but I’m willing to bet he’s thought at least once since Scott being fired become public, that it was the best decision he could have made.
