Very happy for EEAAO cleaning up with awards. I’m sad that TÁR, Fabelmans, and Banshees walked away empty handed though. I thought that either Kerry Condon for Banshees, Angela for Wakanda, or Cate for TÁR would have those in the bag.

I haven’t seen The Whale but happy for Brendan Fraser. I’ve heard bad things about The Whale except for his performance.

I dunno about everyone, maybe the marvel fanbase? EEAAO were pretty much huge favorites in every category afaik?

Betting odds before the show had them as favorites for all they won yeah. Supporting actress was closest but was still Curtis slightly favored

I will be watching Wakanda Forever soon anyways as wifey actually said it was her favorite Marvel movie atm so def getting mixed messages lol. I just know it's long so I will make sure to be in the proper mood for a long movie

Very long and long periods of zero action and a little forced in areas. I will say M’Baku is great though

I thought Wakanda Forever was fine but I definitely preferred the first BP movie personally. I do think Angela Bassett is the best thing about WF though.

Story is awesome. Some of the best acting MCU has seen. Villain is actually well developed and you care about him. The humor is actually funny. Great action scenes. And of course the Chadwick tribute is heartbreaking.

Well she is a big fan of hers so if she has an epic performance I could see why it would move her. Looking forward to checking it out, I will just go in very open minded and not expecting an action flick and more of a slow burn epic
