Best picture nominee TÁR is now on Peacock for those of y’all that have Peacock and are interested in checking it out. I think it’s a great movie, I highly recommend.

I watched Banshees of Inisherin and watched Glass Onion. 2 down. I guess I’ll watch Tar on Peacock and I’m gonna try and see Everything Everywhere at my movie theater tomorrow as they rereleased it.

I was very excited to see Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan won when I read the results this morning. Considering the difficulties both have had in their careers. Just a really great time for both of them.

I was reading Brendan Fraser's transformation for The Whale took like 6 hours each day of filming. That's some serious patience and dedication to the role.

Very happy for him. Been a big fan since The Mummy so it's nice to see him win an Oscar. Always struck me as a good guy.

School Ties is one of the great movies of the early 90's. The cast is bursting with talent. See it if you haven't.

Yeah Fraser winning Best Actor is so wonderful. I hate to ever down anyone winning an Award during The Oscars but I felt Angela Bassett should of deserved the Best Supporting Actress Award over Jamie Lee Curtis.

Seeing what a sore loser she was I’m glad she lost. Also Wakanda Forever was boring as fuck at least JLC was in a good movie this year.

Booty’s opinion of Wakanda Forever is fucking ass backwards imo but to each their own.

I will say Everything Everywhere winning all the awards was quite the upset. EVERYONE thought Angela Bassett was winning supporting actress and Cate Blanchett was winning best actress. I thought Banshees had a pretty good chance of best picture too. It’s cool though cause I enjoy upsets. I can’t believe I still haven’t seen this fucking movie cause I’ve seen most of the others :lol

I dunno about everyone, maybe the marvel fanbase? EEAAO were pretty much huge favorites in every category afaik?
