Because everyone left our team besides me and -TJ-. Nice to see us get some new people, great to see you guys come aboard, and watch us dominate the competition.

Team USA II Match for this Week

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk

*Bell Rings*

Jericho and Punk stare each other down in opposite corners to begin the match. They move to the center of the ring, and Punk extends his hand, offering a handshake. Y2J brushes it off and turns around, posing for the fans. As soon as Jericho turns back around, CM Punk gets Jericho in an aggressive lockup. Both men are equally strong, and are on their knees without a break. Jericho goes behind Punk and tries to take him down to the mat, but Punk quickly gets behind Y2J. Punk puts Jericho quickly in a side headlock. Jericho pushes Punk away to the ropes. Y2J catches Punk with his own side headlock. Punk wants to break out of the hold too, and pushes Jericho across the back to get out of the hold. Jericho still has a grip on it, and Punk is still trapped in the submission. Jericho takes him down with a headlock takeover, and he’s still locked in. Punk is flat on his back, and uses a leg scissors to escape the headlock. Jericho is trapped in the leg scissor hold of Punk, and he tries to move to his feet for a reversal or escape. Jericho stands on his head between Punk’s legs, and uses the momentum to jump up to his feet. Jericho attempts a boot to the head, but Punk moved back. CM Punk gets to his feet, and the two stare at each other, gaining the crowd’s applause.

Jericho challenges Punk to run against the ropes. Punk listens and does so. Punk tries to bring him down with a shoulder block, but Jericho sidestepped, with a cocky smile on his face. Punk now yells at Jericho to run the ropes. Jericho does so, and Punk moved out of the way, Jericho stops himself before running more, and throws a side kick at Punk. Punk ran against the ropes to get out of it, and he goes for a clothesline. Y2J ducked under, and grabbed both arms of Punk. He tries to bring CM down with a backslide pin attempt, But Punk remains on his feet. Punk and Jericho separate, and stare each other down again. Jericho challenges Punk to a free shot to the face. Punk obliges, and goes for a hard right hand to Y2J’s cheek. Jericho played possum, ducking under the move and knocking Punk’s legs out from under him. Jericho rolls Punk up for a pin. 1…2… Punk rolled to his left, bringing both Jericho’s shoulders down. 1…2… Jericho got his shoulder up and rolls back, followed by a lateral press cover. Punk moved out of the way to avoid getting pinned, and Jericho hits the mat. Punk goes for a short elbow drop, but Jericho also moved out of the way. Jericho is on his feet and Punk is on his knees, staring each other down again.

Punk gets to a standing position, but is quickly knocked to his knees again with a dropkick to the knee from Jericho. Jericho wants to take Punk down with a neckbreaker, but CM brought his arm up in a punch to the midsection to stop Jericho’s attempt. Punk is on his feet, and he runs against the ropes. Jericho brought him to the mat again with a drop toe hold. Y2J takes a move out of the Eddie Guerrero playbook by placing Punk’s head between his boots. Punk brought his feet up to kick Y2J in the midsection to stop the upcoming move. Jericho is knocked back a few steps, and he’s leaning against the ropes. Punk gets to a standing position quickly and looks to capitalize on Jericho’s weakness. He runs and clotheslines Jericho out of the ring. Punk waits for Jericho to get in the ring, and the ref begins to count. Jericho is standing at the ringside area, taking a breather. Jericho walks toward the ring and reaches out, grabbing Punk’s leg and knocking him to his back on the mat. Jericho jumps into the ring with a diving slingshot elbow drop.

Jericho makes the cover. 1…2… Punk got his shoulder up with time to spare. Punk rolls to his knees, trying to get up. Jericho grabs Punk by the head, having him in a front facelock. Punk hits him in the side a couple of times to get out. Punk is behind Y2J and pushes him to the ropes. Punk elbows the lower back of Jericho, a couple of times, and Y2J has a grimace on his face. Punk then snapmares him to the middle of the ring and kicks him in the back hard. Punk pushes Jericho to his back for a cover. 1…2… Jericho kicked out easily, and he rolls over to the ropes to get up. Punk runs at him, but Jericho moves out of the way nonchalantly. Punk’s chest rammed into the top rope hard, and his back gets dropkicked by Chris Jericho. Punk rolls him up for the cover, and places his feet on the ropes for leverage. 1…2… The ref looks up and sees Jericho’s dirty tactics, and forces him to break up the pin. Punk rolls back, getting to the middle of the ring on his feet. He runs at Jericho, with Y2J attempting a belly to belly throw. Punk ran straight into Jericho with a flying forearm.

Jericho is brushed back to the corner. Punk charges towards the corner, but Jericho got his boot up in Jericho’s face. He grabs Punk by the hair, running out of the corner. Punk is driven to the mat on his face with a bulldog. Jericho stands on Punk for a cocky cover. 1…2… Y2J’s body is pushed to the mat with the kickout. Punk is up, and he runs against the ropes. He lands on the throat of Jericho with a leg drop. Punk is on his feet again, awaiting the rising of Jericho. Y2J is on one knee, and Punk can’t wait any longer, grabbing him by the head. Punk brings him up for a suplex, but it is escaped quickly. Jericho chops Punk, and he runs against the ropes. Jericho goes for a running maneuver, but Punk spotted the move quickly, connecting with a leaping leg lariat. Punk makes the cover. 1…2… Jericho got his shoulder up, saving himself from a loss. Jericho gets up to his knees before Punk could capitalize. Y2J punches at the legs of Punk, getting up at the same time. Jericho has Punk weak enough to set up for a move of his own. He attempts a double underhook backbreaker, but Punk blocks the move, gaining the attack position now. Punk hooks the arms of Jericho, then bringing him down with his own double underhook backbreaker.

Punk goes to the outside, standing on the apron. As soon as Jericho stands on both feet, he flies. Jericho jumps up and saves himself by dropkicking Punk in the chest as he was coming down. Jericho raises his hands up, running to the ropes. Jericho jumps to the middle rope, attempting the Lionsault. Punk rolled out of the way, making Jericho crash to the amt on his stomach. Punk rolls Jericho over, setting up a top rope move. Punk goes for his split legged moonsault, but Jericho gets his knees up, impacting Punk’s ribs. Jericho gets up, with Punk standing on his feet. Jericho nails a Frankensteiner to Punk, making him fall to the mat. Jericho grabs the legs of Punk, going for the Walls of Jericho. Punk kicked Jericho in the stomach to escape the submission hold. Punk is on his feet, with Jericho falling back to the corner. Punk runs at the corner, attempting a high knee to the face. He connects with the move, now going for a bulldog out of the corner. Jericho pushes Punk away, making Punk run against the ropes. Jericho grabs the running Punk, rolling over with a rolling Walls of Jericho.

Punk is screaming in pain in Jericho’s devastating submission hold. Punk manages to roll over, breaking the submission. Punk is leaning on the ropes, with Jericho looking disappointed about the escape. Jericho tries to sweep Punk’s legs out again, setting up the Walls once more. Punk countered with a kick straight to the face, sending Jericho back to the middle of the ring. Jericho looks groggy, and he drops to his knees. Punk runs at him, trying a Shining Wizard. Jericho rolled out of the way, and Punk’s body is able to stay in the match. Jericho runs at Punk, going for the Codebreaker. Punk caught him, setting up perfectly for a Ura-nage slam. Jericho elbows the side of Punk’s head to escape the move. Punk goes for another legsweep, but it’s stopped again with another stiff kick to the face. Punk makes the best out of the weak Y2J, putting him on his shoulders. Punk walks to the middle of the ring, setting up the Go 2 Sleep to end the match. Before Punk could initiate it, Jericho slipped out, bringing Punk down in a Victory Roll Pin attempt.

John Cena v. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin gets right into the ring, and without even taking off his vest takes down Cena. The crowd is standing as Austin connects with right hand after right hand, to Cena. Austin finally gets to his feet and takes off, and throws his vest to the outside. Austin goes right back to Cena, and begins to stomp away at the former WWE Champion. Austin picks up Cena and sends him to the ropes. Cena comes off of the ropes and Austin connects with the Lou Thez press! Austin connects with even more right hands to the face of Cena. The All Star is picked up by Austin and is sent to the ropes. Austin then connects with a clothesline that sends Cena over the top rope, and to the outside. Austin doesn’t even wait for Doan to start the ten count, as Austin slides out of the ring. Austin picks up Cena and slams him face first into the padding of the Smackdown Announce Table. Cena comes back with an elbow to the stomach of Austin. However the move does little to slow down the Rattlesnake. Cena turns around and Austin connects with a clothesline to the All-Star. Austin picks up Cena, and sends him right into the steel steps, right shoulder first. Austin does his salute to the crowd, before picking up Cena, and decking him with a right hand, that sends Cena back to the padding on the floor! Austin picks up Cena and sends him back into the ring. Austin slides back into the ring, and makes the first cover of the match.

AND Cena kicks out! Austin gets to his feet and picks up Cena and sends him to the ropes. Cena comes off of the ropes, and ducks a clothesline, and connects with a running shoulder tackle to Austin. The crowd jeers Cena as he gets to his feet. Cena jumps over Austin, as he heads to the ropes. Cena comes off of the ropes, and goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, early here in the match! He misses, as Austin moves out of the way. Cena holds his hand, as Austin is up. Cena turns around and Austin hits a flapjack spinebuster! Austin makes the cover.

AND Cena kicks out once again. Austin picks up Cena and sends him to the corner. Austin immediately follows up with a clothesline to Cena, in the corner. Austin then connects with some right hands to the face of the All-Star. Austin then begins to stomp a mudhole in Cena, and walk it dry. Doan tries to break up the count, and Austin gives Doan the finger to a huge pop from the crowd. Austin then gives the finger to Cena, and then connects with a final stomp to the face and chest of Cena! Austin finally breaks from the corner, and then salutes the crowd! Austin turns around and picks up Cena and sends him to the ropes. Cena comes off of the ropes, and ducks a clothesline from Austin. Austin turns around and Cena kicks Austin in the gut. Cena does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt, and then goes for the F-U early on here in the match. Austin counters and lands on his feet. Cena turns around and Austin connects with a clothesline that sends Cena to the canvas. Austin picks up Cena and sends him to the ropes. Cena comes off of the ropes, and Cena is hit with a spinebuster by Austin once again. Austin makes the quick cover.

AND Cena kicks out. Austin picks up Cena, and goes for a right hand, however is blocked by Cena. Cena connects with a right hand to the face of Austin. The crowd boos as Austin tries once more, and again is blocked by Cena! Cena connects with another right hand to the face of Austin. Cena begins to connect with several right hands to the face of the Rattlesnake. Cena sends Austin to the ropes, and Austin is then hit with a back body drop. Austin holds the back of his neck as Cena picks him up, and slaps Austin across the face! Austin looks at Cena and comes at him, but Cena ducks and then catches Austin with a high angle back drop. Cena makes his first cover of the match.

AND NO! Austin gets the shoulder up. Cena picks up Austin and connects with a right hand that sends Austin into the ropes. Cena then sends Austin right into the corner. Austin hits the corner with some much velocity that Austin bounces right down to the canvas. Cena then goes off of the ropes and drops a fist into the face of Austin, as Cena connects with a modified Five Knuckle Shuffle!

Cena makes the cover.

AND again Austin is able to kick out. Cena picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes. Austin comes off of the ropes, and Cena connects with a modified vertical suplex. Cena then picks up Austin and sends him to the corner. Cena comes at Austin, but Austin moves out of the way. Austin then connects with a right hand that stumble Cena. Austin begins to connect with right hand after right hand, until Cena gets a thumb to the eye of Austin. Austin stumbles away from a moment, before Cena then comes off of the ropes and hits a bulldog. Austin gets to his feet and Cena connects with the shoulder block. Austin gets to his feet and Cena connects with another shoulder block, before making the cover once more!

AND Austin gets the shoulder up. Cena picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes. Austin comes off of the ropes, and Cena goes for a tackle, but misses. Cena turns around and Austin connects with a modified swinging neckbreaker. Cena holds the back of his neck, as Austin makes the cover.

AND Cena gets the shoulder up once more. Austin gets to his feet and then begins to stomp away at the legs of Cena. Austin picks up Cena and goes for an Irish whip. Cena counters and reverses it. Austin comes off of the ropes, and hits another Lou Thez Press to Cena. Austin gets up from the canvas and goes to the ropes. Austin comes off of the ropes and hits the axe handle smash to the face of Cena. Austin makes the cover yet again.

AND Cena gets the shoulder up once again. Austin picks up Cena and goes for a high side slam. However Cena lands on his feet, and connects with a reverse face buster to Austin, as Cena gets up to his feet and does a taunt to the crowd! Cena then picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes. Austin comes off of the ropes, and Cena comes off of the ropes, and hits the throwback! The crowd continues to boo Cena, who makes the cover.

AND Austin gets the shoulder up. Austin is picked up by Cena, and is hit with another right hand to the face. Austin tries to come back with another right hand, but is blocked by Cena. Cena connects with another right hand, followed by a kick to the stomach. Cena then lifts Austin up and connects with a delayed vertical suplex. Cena doesn’t decide to go for the cover. Cena goes out to the apron, and begins to climb the top rope. Austin slowly gets to his feet. Cena doesn’t wait to for Austin to get to his feet, as Cena hits the standing leg drop from off the top rope to Austin. Austin holds the back of his neck once more, as Cena again makes the cover!

AND Again Austin gets the shoulder up at the last moment, as the crowd lets out a huge pop! Cena can not believe it. Cena gets to his feet and picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes. Austin comes off of the ropes, and Cena connects with a modified flapjack face buster. Cena then tries to lock in the STFU, but Austin makes it to the ropes, before the move can be locked in. Cena breaks the hold, but then slides out of the ring, and connects with a right hand right to the face of Austin. The crowd boos Cena as he gets back into the ring. Cena picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes. Cena looks for another back body drop, but Austin telegraphs it. Cena gets to a complete vertical base, and is hit with a kick to the gut. Austin looks to hit the stunner, but Cena blocks it. Cena pushes Austin off of him, as Austin spins around for a moment. Austin turns back around and Cena kicks him in the stomach, and connects with a DDT. Cena then makes the cover once more to Austin!

AND Austin gets the shoulder up once again! Cena begins to become a little annoyed as the match continues! Cena gets to his feet and picks up Austin and sends him to the corner. Cena comes at Austin, and connects with a huge clothesline in the corner to Austin. Cena then picks up Austin and puts him on the top turnbuckle. Cena begins to climb the turnbuckles. Cena gets to the middle turnbuckle and picks up Austin. Cena goes to the top turnbuckle, as the flashbulbs from cameras in the Garden audience are seen flashing. Cena then connects with Superglue, which gets a huge reaction from the crowd! Both men are down as the ref checks the condition of both men. The ref then looks at one another once more, before beginning the ten count. 1……..2……..3……..4………..5………6………..7………and Cena gets the shoulder over the chest of Austin for the cover.

AND Austin gets the shoulder up once more, as the crowd is cheering for the Rattlesnake! Cena can’t believe it, as his face tells that he is clearly disappointed with the ref’s slow count. Cena gets to his feet and goes to the outside on the apron! Cena goes to the top turnbuckle and waits for Austin to get up. Austin gets up and Cena goes for a clothesline in midair. However, Austin catches Cena in midair. Austin then hits a huge spinebuster to Cena. Both men are down. This match continues as the fans are chanting for Austin to get to his feet. The ref checks on both men, as they are still both down. Finally the ref begins the ten count. 1…..2……3……..4………5………..6………7………8…and Austin gets the shoulder over Cena for the cover.

AND NO! Cena gets the shoulder up at the last moment. Both men are down. Austin slowly gets to his feet. Austin picks up Cena and connects with a right hand. Cena stumbles for a moment, and comes back with a right hand of his own to Austin. Austin stumbles back, and connects with another right hand to Cena. Cena comes back, and connects with another right hand to Austin. The crowd is going wild as these two wrestling icons are going at it in the middle of the ring, inside Madison Square Garden! Austin finally gets the advantage! Austin sends Cena to the ropes, and goes for a clothesline. Cena ducks the clothesline, and hits a neckbreaker. The crowd boos Cena as Cena gets to his feet. Austin gets back to his feet, holding his neck. Austin turns around and Cena goes for and connects with the F-U! The crowd can’t believe it! Cena hits the F-U on Austin. The crowd is stunned as Cena makes the cover, in the middle of the ring.

AND Austin gets the shoulder up! The crowd can’t believe it! Cena is livid as he thought it was a three count. Cena makes the cover once again!

AND NO! Again Austin gets the shoulder up to a huge pop from the crowd! Cena looks like his eyes are about to pop out of his head. Cena gets to his feet and waits for Austin to get up. Cena is stomping on the canvas, and is screaming for Steve to get back to his feet! Cena continues to pace around the ring, waiting for Austin to get to his feet, as the match continues! Cena finally has enough, as he goes over and picks up Austin. Cena looks to go for the F-U once again, but Austin counters! Austin lands on his feet. Cena goes for a clothesline, but misses. Austin turns Cena around and goes for the kick to the stomach! Austin kicks Cena in the stomach, and goes for the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin hits the Stunner! The crowd is on its feet, as both men are down in the center of the ring! The crowd continues to chant for Austin’s name, as Doan checks on both men. Doan begins the 10 count. 1……….2………3…………4…………5………..6…………7…………8…..and Austin finally gets the right shoulder over the sternum of Cena, for the cover.

AND NO! Austin can’t get the three count as Cena, gets the shoulder up at the last moment! Austin puts his hands on his forehead in disbelief. Austin gets to his feet, and goes over to Cena. Cena catches with a right hand to the left leg of Austin. Austin holds his left leg, as Cena takes down Austin, with a chopblock! Austin tries to get to his feet, but Cena immediately locks in the STFU on Austin! The crowd begins to boo the hell out of Cena! Cena has the hold locked in as Austin tries to get to the ropes. Austin continues to fight in the hold, as Cena seems relentless in trying to win the match. Austin though is relentless as well, with his “never quit” attitude. Austin refuses to give up, as Cena keeps the hold locked in. Austin continues to try to get to the ropes, as Cena screams for Austin to “QUIT!” Austin though will not quit! Austin refuses to give up, as The Garden continues to chant Austin’s name! Austin is almost at the ropes, when Cena counters once more, and adds more pressure on the hold! Austin looks like he is going to quit, when he reaches out his hand once more. Austin tries to get to his hand to the ropes once more, as the crowd is on its feet. After close to a minute, Austin finally gets his hand to and on the bottom rope, as the crowd lets out the biggest pop of the match! Cena must break the hold, as the match continues. Cena finally breaks the hold, at the count of four. Cena gets to his feet and picks up Austin. Cena goes for the F-U once more. Cena connects with it! Cena though can’t make the cover immediately though. Cena holds his shoulder for a moment, before going to make the cover.

AND Austin gets the shoulder up at the last moment! Cena is beyond livid! Cena thought that the match was over. Cena then looks at the top rope. Cena then has a smirk on his face. Cena then picks up Austin and sends him right into the turnbuckles. Cena then picks up Austin and proceeds to go to the top rope. Cena hits the top turnbuckle, and looks to go for the top rope F-U! It was the same move that Cena hit to beat Austin at Summerslam, back in August. Cena goes for it, but Austin counters, at the last moment. Austin counters with a standing modified facebuster in midair! The crowd gives Austin a huge ovation, as he slowly gets to his feet. Cena gets to his feet as well. Cena comes at Austin, looking for a clothesline. Austin ducks at the last moment. Cena turns around, and Austin goes for and hits the Stone Cold Stunner! The crowd gives a huge pop for Austin as he makes the cover, in the middle of the ring!
