as a huge RE fan, i wont say that this looks like its better than RE4.

i dont like detailed 3D graphics. the story looks good and it may have some new features but the i dont like the environment.

until i see the official trailer...

anyways i am a BIG RE fan but i dont think RE4 can be topped but i am definitly going to try this game out if its good i will buy it

I luved Resident Evil 4 it was one of the best games in a while...So i only hope that Resident Evil 5 will be able to live up to the hype that is built around it...but judging from the pics and the E3 trailer...I don't think we have anything to worry about...

E3 2008: Resident Evil 5 Dated
Online co-op and other details announced.

July 14, 2008 - Capcom has announced a March 12, 2009 release date for Resident Evil 5 in Japan and March 13, 2009 date for North America and Europe at Microsoft's E3 press conference. Also announced was the fact that the game will feature online cooperative play. Players will be able to hop-in-and-out and teams will be able to do moves that they couldn't do by themselves.

IGN will keep you up to date with future Resident Evil 5 updates, so stay tuned.

I said it about a year ago...and i still feel the same way...Games gunna rule...and i can't wait for it to drop...As Resident Evil 4 was addicting as hell...I still go over to my friends to play it every now and again...

I'm a Resident Evil series fanboy addict. Have been since playing Resident Evil: Director's Cut on Playstation back in 1997. Needless to say, I can't wait for RE5. I guess the story takes place in Africa, and there is a new mega-conglomerate (like Umbrella) that is aiming to do what Ozwell Spencer, William Birkin and Albert Wesker succeeded in doing in the first 4 games (technically 5: RE: Zer0, RE, RE2, RE3, RE: CV.) However, I think the "Las Plagas" bacteria (from RE4) is going to be the reason for the Zombification of the antagonists in this game. Also, Wesker is coming back as well. Shiva is the new female character and is supposed to be from somewhere in the Eastern Hemisphere.

On a sad note: I really wish they'd clarify what the hell happened to Rebecca Chambers and Claire Redfield. Rebecca hasn't been seen since Resident Evil, and Claire hasn't been seen since Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Both have been co-stars with Chris before, so it'd be nice to know what happened to them.

The demo has been available for awhile now. I like it, I don't see what people are complaining about. You just gotta accept that Resident Evil has changed, the old style would feel to dated.

Also there are more white zombies in the demo. I barely saw any doing early build-up videos/small gameplay clips. I don't really care, just thought i'd point that out.
