I played a bit today before being kicked off the TV. Very impressive, but I dont know everyones signature moves, so I'll need to spend a few hours in create a moveset learning the moves.

This game is epic.

In line with my BretScrewedBret gamertag, I got to see Vince utter that very line in Attitude Era mode. CLASSIC. I screwed over Bret in Montreal with the Sharpshooter.

My wife and I had a few epic matches before crashing last night. She won the first match which was awesome. Sheamus vs Barrett Extreme Rules. We started a King of the Ring tournament. Only match we did in the KOTR so far was Miz (me) vs Brodus Clay (her). It's absolutely ridiculous how epic match-ups can become. Goddamn man, I just threw the tournament together randomly and this match was like a bad-ass PPV main event.

I was cheating my ass off the whole time, and had Brodus bleeding like an SOB. The finish was Miz hitting a SCF onto an open chair with Brodus' FACE and winning by countout. AWWWWWESOME.

Has Universe mode been improved? Or is it still the same meaningless, flaccid chore that it was on the last game?

There was no point to it. Creating your own set-up was fun, but after 1 week of matches I quickly realized there was absolutely no point to it.

You can make your own shows and edit titles. I made an NXT championship.

I am also working on creating my very own NXT rookie roster. I got three rookies made so far. I need unique ideas though.

Yeah you could do that on the last one.

Is there any actual point to it yet, though? Ratings for the shows? Goals to achieve? Anything other than just creating shows/cards?

I don't think you could have injuries in universe mode on wwe 12. I played the hell out of that xP

Trust me... I've had plenty. Had Del Rio out for a while. Had Kharma out for a bit... messed up my divas division.

Yeah you could, Eddie got injured during a feud with my created guy then two months later after my guy defended the title in the main event of the PPV Eddie came running out to a huge pop then did a :RUSSO: SWERVE and joined sides with me and attacked the guy I was against. I may or may not have marked a little.

The attention to detail in Attitude Era is so cool. I've enjoyed it thoroughly. I will definitely play this again and again, something I've never done for a story mode in a wrestling game.

As soon as I unlock all the Attitude Era guys, I'll reboot Universe mode with only Attitude guys on Raw Is War. Maybe a house show and Sunday Night Heat too.
