UWF NXT Presents 10/23/12 Edition!

The crowd go wild for the launch of the yellow brand of UWF. NXT. Pyro blasts out from the stage in every direction imaginable, lighting up the stage in a sea of yellow. As the pyro dies down the camera does a pan of the arena to show all of the excited fans. The theme music of NXT continues to play until the camera centres on our commentary team of Joey Styles and Tazz.

tumblr_lhnx8ahkBx1qgkaqlo1_400.jpg

Styles: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night NXT!... and what a night of exciting, cutting-edge action we have in store for you tonight including the loser of the Gold Rush Tournament taking on the NXT World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, to see if McGuillicutty can really cut it at the top!?

Tazz: Ahhh Joey, it's gonna be time to see if MGuillicutty can step out of the shadow of his father but also, my man, Brock Lesnar is gonna kick the living crap out of that little scene punk, Seth Rollins.

Styles: Speaking of that match Tazz, we're about to see Brock Lesnar taking on Seth Rollins in our opening match.

Tazz: Well, here comes the pain!

4717567H.gif

The theme song starts as the most dominant force in UWF is coming to arena. The crowd boo "The Beast" Brock Lesnar but he don't cares, because the look in his eyes tells everything... He came to show dominance and who is the best on this show and in this business! He walks down the ramp, then he stops looks at one man from crowd, smiles at him and after this he jumps goes to ring.

ecdLK.gif

'Flesh it out' by Blues Saraceno begins playing as Seth Rollins comes from behind the curtain in very escastic mood as he waves his hands around in the air as he gets to the centre of the entrance stage as he begins to slap the stage. Rollins then walks down the entrance ramp slapping the hands of the fans in the front row, Rollins hops up on the apron as he goes to pose on the corner turnbuckle, Rollins then steps down and prepares for his match.

The match begins as Rollins looks ready to attack when suddenly.

IT’s A Shameful Thing!

Sheamus begins making his way down to ringside as the crowd begins booing loudly Rollins is distracted by the large Irishman. Allowing Lesnar to nail Rollins with a cheap shot from behind. Rollins is now a sitting duck in the corner as Lesnar goes nuts driving his shoulder repeatedly into Rollins midsection. Lesnar isn’t done however as he backs up and crushes Rollins in the corner with a massive clothesline! Rollins falls to the mat looking like an accordion as Lesnar screams out in rage as Heyman applauds from ringside. Sheamus looks on smug happy to see his rival being dissected in the ring.

Styles:
Wow what a way to start out NXT here Tazz, with the arrival of the Brock Lesnar who looks to be making quick work of Rollins thus far in the match up.

Tazz:
I still have yet to see what this Rollins kid brings to the table, and I doubt I’m going to see it tonight against a machine like Lesnar.

Lesnar drags Rollins to his feet and lifts him up on his shoulders before military press slamming Rollins as if he were nothing. Heyman is heard screaming, “Break him! Break him!” Lesnar smiles as he waits patiently for Rollins to get to his feet. The process is slow in coming forcing Lesnar to wait longer than he wants. It may be a mistake for Rollins gets to his feet using the ropes and Lesnar sends him flying over the top rope to the floor below. The official forces Lesnar to back off, giving Sheamus an opening. Sheamus comes in and crushes the ribs of Rollins with a boot. The crowd boo as the Great White pounds on his chest proud of his cheap shot.

Styles:
Oh come on, how exactly is this fair. Rollins is stuck between two monsters without a pray of a chance.

Tazz:
We all knew this was a possibility Joey, and unfortunately for Rollins it is a reality.

Sheamus tosses Rollins back into the ring like a piece of cheap meat and the official gets up in Sheamus face allowing Lesnar to get down on top of Rollins and begin choking him, causing the sold out crowd to roar in disapproval. Lesnar gets up as Sheamus stops his argument and smiles a sick and gruesome smile. He heads over to the corner and leans against it, waiting patiently for Rollins to get up. Lesnar doesn’t want to bother anymore and decides to help Rollins up so he can do some more damage. Unfortunately for Lesnar Rollins manages to throw up a right hand which knocks Lesnar back. Rollins hits him again, and again, and again trying to build some momentum. Rollins shoots Lesnar off the rope and the crowd is cheerful hoping to see Rollins put the Animal in his place, but Lesnar counters and uses his inhuman strength to toss Rollins right into him and lift him up and over his head with an overhead belly to belly suplex that breaks Rollins in half!

Styles:
Just when I thought Rollins may have something here he is literally flattened by the man who has just destroyed everything in his path thus far.

Tazz:
Brock Lesnar is one monster of a man, and I doubt anyone on the NXT roster could truly go blow for blow against him!

Lesnar begins hitting his head as if trying to figure out what to do next. Heyman begins screaming to finish him! Lesnar nods his head as Sheamus looks on with a bemused grin. Lesnar reaches down to pick up Rollins when suddenly!

WOO WOO WOO! YOU KNOW IT!

Ryder comes out onto the stage temporarily distracting Lesnar long enough for Rollins to hit a small package on Lesnar.

Styles:
Zack Ryder making his presence known here and now Rollins with a chance to steal one here.

1…

2…

3.. NO!

Tazz:
Oh man that one was too close I’m sure for Heyman and Lesnar that was embarrassing!

Lesnar gets the shoulder up just in the nick of time. And the crowd sigh with Rollins having come so close. Lesnar shoots up to the mat angry as hell now and lifts Rollins up onto his shoulders ready to connect with the F-5, when suddenly Ryder comes leaping up onto the apron. Heyman tries to tell Lesnar to let it go but Lesnar tosses Rollins off of him and attempts to go after Ryder. Rollins lands on his feet as Lesnar goes after Ryder who ducks and hops off the apron just in time. Ryder looks up at Lesnar and smiles proud of himself, that doesn’t last long however as Sheamus comes out of nowhere and nails Ryder with the Brogue Kick! Sheamus yells at Lesnar “Finish him laddie!” Pointing to Rollins. Lesnar turns ready to destroy Rollins but Rollins nails Lesnar from out of nowhere with the Avada Kedavra! The Superkick drops Lesnar to the ground and Rollins, having taken such a beating falls down on top of him. The crowd cheer loudly.

Styles:
What a kick from Rollins! Is it enough to put away Lesnar!

Tazz:
What an upset Joey.

1…

2…

3…

Here is your Winner: Seth Rollins!

Sheamus jumps into the ring hoping to attack Rollins but Rollins escapes just in the nick of time. Sheamus looks totally frustrated as Rollins checks on Ryder who appears to be ok as the two begin walking up the entrance way looking thick as thieves.

Styles:
I’m very surprised and yet excited as Rollins and Ryder who have had issues with Lesnar and Sheamus in the past have managed to one up them so to speak just a few days from King of the Ring!

Tazz:
This is big for Ryder heading into his match with Lesnar this Sunday and to be honest, if he beats the NXTreme Champion later tonight, Ryder could be going sky high like his buddy Rollins here tonight!

Sheamus is in the ring not looking happy at all. Heyman tries to calm the Great White down, but Sheamus is over the edge and grabs Paul’s coat. Heyman looks like he is going to piss himself as Sheamus prepares to hurt Heyman for Lesnar’s failing, but the Next Big Thing is up! He grabs Sheamus and for putting his hands on Heyman lifts him up onto his shoulders and sends Sheamus to the mat with a brutal F-5! Heyman now looks happy as he yells down to Sheamus “That is what happens when you touch me you Irish Bastard! This Alliance is OVER!”

Styles:
Well it looks like whatever was going on between Sheamus and Lesnar is over now and you can take it from the snake’s mouth in Heyman!

Tazz:
Normally I’d say this isn’t a wise decision on Lesnar’s part, but what after I just saw, I think old Brock is going to be just fine.

Lesnar is furious as UWF NXT heads elsewhere!

Maxine is racing down the hallway shouting, looking for Johnny Curtis as Bateman is following behind.

Maxine
Johnny!....... Johnny! .....Where the hell are you I'm going to kill you!

Maxine comes across a man in the hallway and grabs him by his jacket.

batemax7.jpg

Maxine
You! Where the hell is Johnny Curtis!

Man
Who? I haven't seen anybody!

Maxine
Ugh! I swear that when I find him he's dead! Johnny!

Derrick Bateman
Maxine wait up. Tell me why you're so mad at him.

Maxine
Him? Can you really call him a person? More like an it. That idiots been going around telling people that we've been sleeping together.

Derrick Bateman
He's been saying that for weeks.

Maxine
Yeah but he said we did it once but now he's telling everyone we've been doing it everywhere!

Derrick Bateman
Are you?

Maxine gets a withholding look on her face before Johnny Curtis comes out from a connecting hallway.

Johnny Curtis
Sup?

Maxine
Where the hell have you been!

Johnny Curtis
It's a secret. You'll find out later tonight sweetie.

Maxine slaps Johnny Curtis hard across the face as Bateman cringes.

Johnny Curtis
Yeah baby I like it rough!

Maxine slaps him once again as Johnny has a crazy look in his eye. They stare at each other for quite awhile in silence before Bateman finally decides to say something.

Derrick Bateman
This is awkward. Listen guys I know you're busy doing uhh something.

Maxine
Something!? I'm reviving a long lost division. The Women's Championship was handed to some loser from England named Chelsea who hasn't been seen since she "won" it and I vow to bring prestige back to that title. I talked to the higher ups and they've been agreeing but I still have many hurdles to jump over. I'm bringing this thing back on my own and a bunch of little whores are popping up trying to throw their names in the running. If anyone thinks I'm going to just sit idly by and watch this crap go down I won't! As for Johnny, I don't know what the hell he's been doing besides losing.

Johnny Curtis
Whoa cool your jets babe, I lost one match it isn't the end of the world. Besides Derrick has lost a couple matches too.

Derrick Bateman
Yeah but that's going to change tonight. Bully Ray is old news and Derrick Bateman is in. Ask in internet, I'm all over it! Did you know there's a meme about me? Tell me, where's Bully's meme? I'm gonna show everyone why it should have been me facing Randy Orton at King of the Ring!

Johnny Curtis
Well good luck with that. I have to go make some more plans ready.

Johnny lifts his eyebrows at Maxine before walking off and Maxine walks off in a different direction as the camera heads back to the ring.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is set for one fall!

106756Entrance.gif

"The Beaten Path" starts to play as Bully Rays tron plays. Expecting him to come out to the arena the fans all gear up ready to boo the Bully. He finally shows through the curtain after keeping the fans waiting and as he's walking down the ramp he stops to pose, showing why he is called Calfzilla. The Bully of NXT soon slides into the ring and prepares for his upcoming match-up.

Christy Hemme: Introducing first, from Hells Kitchen, New York, weighing in at 280 pounds, Bully Ray!

DerrickBateman-Entrance-1.gif

Derrick Bateman's music hits as the young plucky rookie comes out full of energy. He slaps hands with a few fans before looking into the gaze of Bully Ray. He slows down and cautiously walks into the ring. He is more than aware of the threat Bully Ray poses. He goes into a corner and prepares for his match, posing for the crowd as a show of confidence perhaps trying to intimidate Bull Ray.

Christy Hemme: And his opponent, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 226 pounds, Derrick Bateman!.
Bully.jpg
Vs
DerrickBateman-1.jpg

The match kicks off with Bully Ray attacking Bateman from behind as Bateman poses for his adoring fans. Bully Ray drops Bateman down and Bateman ends up in a seated position down in the corner. Bully Ray proceeds to stomp at Bateman who covers up, but then Ray simply begins to lean down and start laying into Bateman with rights and lefts until the referee forces him off of Bateman. Bateman pulls himself back up but only as Bully Ray runs at him and goes for a Corner Splash, however Bateman is quick to move out of the way and Bully Ray hits nothing than the turnbuckle. Bateman then is quick to run at him and fly into him using a Spear in the corner, before mounting Bully Ray and hitting him with right hand after right hand. He continues this counting along with his supporters in the crowd until the number nine when suddenly Bully Ray comes to life, lifts Bateman out of the corner and drops him back onto the top ring rope hot shotting 'The USA Guy'. Bateman falls back onto the mat and holds at his chin/throat as Bully Ray also recuperates in the corner.

Styles: I've got a feeling that Bully Ray and Derrick Bateman are going to beat lumps out of each other tonight Tazz.

Tazz: I wouldn't expect anything else from these two bruisers Joey.

Bully Ray walks over and grabs Bateman by the hair and pulls him back up to his feet. He Irish Whips him across the ring, as he rebounds off the ropes, Bully Ray throws him up high into the air, before walking away allowing Bateman to splat down onto the mat as Bully Ray walks away very nonchalantly making the move look more impressive. Bateman is getting to his feet as Ray moves over towards him and smacks him over the head, he shouts at Bateman, mocking him. The crowd begin to chant 'Bateman!, Bateman!'. Bully Ray locks Bateman up in an Abdominal Stretch. NXT's resident bully continues to stretch Bateman in the excruciating hold, often times stopping to dig his shoulder down into the stretched side of Bateman. The crowd continue to chant Derrick Bateman's name and eventually he gathers his strength and eventually musters enough together to take Bully Ray off of his feet and over onto the mat with an impact laden Hip Toss. Ray grabs at his back, Bateman immediately goes to work on the back now, digging the knee into the back and pulling back on the arms with a Surfboard.

Styles: Bateman shifts the momentum in his favour with force.

Bateman really pulls back on the arms, forcing the knee deeper into the small of the back. Bully Ray tries to squirm over to the ring ropes but Bateman stands up, drags Bully by the arms to the feet, he tries to lock him up in a Full Nelson, but Bully Ray butt bumps him in the gut, before taking him down with a Drop Toe Hold, before moving up an putting Bateman into a Grounded Side Headlock. Bateman rolls over and rolls Ray's shoulders onto the mat.

1..

Bully rolls back over and keeps the hold applied. Bateman pushes himself back to his feet, he leans Bully onto the ring ropes before sending Bully across the ring to the opposite ropes, when Bully rebounds Bateman takes him down with a shoulder block before hitting the ropes himself. Bully is back to his feet however and he catches Bateman on the rebound up into a Backbreaker. Bully Ray drops Bateman down across his knee and stretches him over it, holding him in the position he landed in. Bateman tries to get himself out of it, throwing hands at the head of the Bully but Bully Ray simply lifts him back up, showing a great deal of strength before dropping him with a Sidewalk Slam. Bully Ray stays atop for the cover.

1...

2...

Bateman rolls the shoulder out. Bully Ray gets up and wastes no time lifting Bateman up by the hair before tossing him up over the top rope to the outside ring mats. The crowd are thoroughly behind Bateman still as he tries to get to his feet down on the outside.

Tazz: I know Bully Ray well and he's taking this outside to his dominion...

Styles: Of course, he isn't the most technically proficient wrestler in the world, but he's one of the best brawlers this company has ever seen.

Bully Ray rolls down to the outside and grabs Bateman by the hair as normal, the referee tells him to let go of the hair, but before he reprimands the Bully, Bully tosses Bateman into the Ringside Barricade. Bully Ray then goes about kicking Bateman when he is down before raising him to his feet again, he attempts to Irish Whip Bateman across into the Steel Ring steps but he reverses the whip and sends Bully Ray flying into the Steel Steps, Bully Ray goes head over heel over the Steel Steps, his knee clattering against the hard steel. Bateman rolls into the ring and rolls back out at the adjacent side where Bully Ray now stumbles back to a vertical base. Bateman goes to grab him and toss him back into the ring but Bully charges Bateman into the Announce Table before tossing Bateman now back into the ring. Bully Ray steps up on the ring apron before climbing slowly and safely up to the top rung of the corner turnbuckles. He sets himself up and leaps off, throwing his legs out, he's going for a Senton on the grounded Bateman, but at the absolute last moment Bateman rolls out of the way and Ray hits nothing but the canvas.

Styles: OH!, Bully Ray crashes and burns, he doesn't normally head up top... and I suppose now we know why!.

As Bateman stumbles to his feet so to does Bully Ray in the corner, once Bully Ray gets himself onto his feet in the corner however, Bateman has primed himself and proceeds to run at Bully Ray and leap into the air, hitting him with a Flying Corner Clothesline. Bully Ray falls to the mat and Bateman points to the top turnbuckle. Bateman begins to climb to the top rope but Bully Ray is already on his feet. Ray climbs up and tries to grab at Bateman, but Bateman fights him off. Bully Ray stumbles back after a particularly hard shot from Bateman and this allows Bateman to steady himself before launching off with an attempted Crossbody down onto the standing Ray. Ray however catches him, he throws him up onto his shoulders looking for a Samoan Drop, but Bateman elbows Bully Ray in the side of the head and escapes the grip. Bateman wraps his arm around the head of Ray as he gets down, but Ray slips his head out, locks the arms up in the Full Nelson before lifting Bateman into the air and bringing him crashing down to the mat with tremendous force on the tailbone with the Bully Bomb!... Bully Ray covers.

...3!

Winner: Bully Ray!.

"CM Punk is a pussy!" Ray is heard saying. It is clear Ray is ready for his match at King of the Ring as NXT heads elsewhere!

The camera cuts back to Rhino backstage, all by himself. He doesn’t seem very pleased, but at the same time doesn’t look extremely angry either. He stares off into space until the camera man makes a noise with his mouth, Rhino immediately jerks back to reality. He looks at the camera with an intense look.

600547261_77b614ae4e.jpg

Rhino: You’ll notice that Coach isn’t here right now. I gave him the night off. I figured since Sting likes to go on about how much of an idiot I am, about how much I need someone to speak for me that I’d prove him wrong. Fact of the matter is, I’m no idiot. Far from it really, I want to prove to the world exactly what I’m capable of. I think I’ve done only a little bit of that. I showed that Sting isn’t man enough to face me face to face. Instead you completely avoid me and pull some kind stunt that makes you look more like a whack job than anything. Who the hell would take you seriously Steve? Yes, I’ll continue to call you Steve, knowing full well it bothers you. I’ll even call you an old man if it pleases me. But it doesn’t, it doesn’t please me that an old guy is going to play all these mind games on me. Always trying to make me look like a fool, always! Why Steve! Why do you insist on irritating me so much? Why not face me like a man, grow a pair! Quit hiding in that damn graveyard of yours and face me in the ring! And no, I’m not counting that Cage match we have at King of the Ring! There are three players in that game. I want you all to myself. Forget Truth; forget that idiot for a minute. He’s really just there to keep my belt warm for me anyway.

I want you to try and remember when you were a man for a second. Remember when you weren’t afraid to step in the ring with a beast such as myself. Do you remember those days Stinger? Do you remember when you rushed into the ring to face the man that called you out? Those were the good old days weren’t they? Now you seem to be trying to relive those days, but change it up a little. Now you want to be seen as some real dark and mysterious guy. Why do you even wear face pain anyway? You’ve been seen plenty of times without it. Hiding from something are we? I wonder what, maybe hiding from the failures that will soon face you? You know what I mean, failing to take me out of this business like you dream about. That’s the only way anybody can take me out, is in their dreams. I’m not afraid of you, in fact I find myself laughing every time someone gives you time to speak. All I hear from you is jibberish. Trying to sound smarter than you really are, using all those big and fancy words like you’re better than all of us! Why Sting? Why go to such lengths? No one really cares about your vocabulary. We only want to see what you can do in the ring. Instead, you run and hide from anyone who poses as a threat to you.

Rhino stops for a moment to catch his breath. He has clearly gotten worked up, but doesn’t seem to let up.

Let’s talk about that Steel Cage match. Three men will be walking in. But only one will be walking out with the belt. Now, we could all go on about how we’re going to walk out with that strap around our waist or shoulder or whatever. The fact of the matter is, it’s not really going to be about the belt is it? It’s going to be about inflicting the most damage and trying to destroy the other two guy’s career in the process. Winning that belt is merely a bonus. Now you see, I know all about inflicting damage on people. I remember you putting ECW into the equation. Claiming that Layfield was only using me as a tool to mock it, this however is going to really screw him over. I’m going to you all why ECW will never truly die. It’s in my heart, and will continue to stay there until the last beat! I don’t think you understand the implications you put into when you agreed to this match. I’m not just talking about you Sting. I’m also talking about you Truth. You see, I may not be used to being in a cage, but I certainly know how to cause some severe damage to a human being. I’ll be the first one to draw blood! And I don’t mean my own.

You both pretty much signed your death certificates when you signed that dotted line saying you agree to the match. You see, when my music hits, and the people start cheering for me, they’ll cheer even louder. And why would they cheer me louder? I’ll tell you why, I’ll be coming out with a cart of goodies. Toys even! I don’t mess around with this kind of stuff. So just know that going into this match, both of you will never be the same. Even if I don’t win the match, I’ll make sure to leave my mark. It’s come to the point now that I’m almost happy to be walking into this match. Even though I certainly deserve a one on one shot at the strap, I think killing two birds with one stone is much more acceptable. And when I do kill both of those birds, I’ll be happy. Happy knowing that I destroyed both of you. And now, you might think I’m being a little too cocky, but honestly, I’m not. I’m being honest! I know exactly what I have to do to take out both of you. Knowing that once that door closes on the cage, there will be nothing stopping me from destroying you both.

Now, when I say I’m being honest, I mean that. No point in sugar coating the amount of pain you’ll be feeling. You’ll be hurt so bad, you won’t be able to get out of bed for a very long time. And that will just be the Doctor’s orders based off what he sees. But he won’t see is what’s going to really hurt you. Steve, I want you to tell your family how much they mean to you. Tell them not to be ashamed of you after your miserable failure. Tell your son to watch and see what kind of man he doesn’t want to be! Poor little Garrett, won’t know what to do with himself when he sees his father suffering. What about little Steven there? Or Gracie, poor kids, I almost feel bad for them. And Truth, go tell whoever you want, I don’t even think you have a family. I just checked Wikipedia, and they have nothing on you other than your poor wrestling career. Gentlemen, I could literally go on for days about the mayhem that will most likely ensue in that cage. I unfortunately can’t so I’ll leave you with one little tidbit. When that cage closes all around us, I won’t be locked in there with you, you’ll be locked in there with me!

AWWWWWESOME!

“I Came to Play” hits as The Miz makes his way out to the top of the ramp resplendent in a brand new suit

Joey Styles: Well Tazz bit of a surprise here, The Miz was impressive last week against Johnny Curtis but he’s not booked to wrestle tonight, so we didn’t expect to see him here

Tazz: No we did not, but here he is! Obviously he has something on his mind that couldn’t wait!

The Miz slides into the ring and grabs a mic from the announcer

miz_gear_268.jpg

The Miz: Goooooooood evening, loyal viewers! Now, I’m not supposed to be here tonight, after my back to back victories I have been given a well-deserved week off, but something has been playing on my mind and, well, I just had to come out here and deal with it.

Y’see, under normal circumstances I would be watching the show at home with my feet up. Protein shake in one hand, TV remote in the other. I’d be able to mute the TV whenever someone who I don’t like starts to talk, and given this show’s roster, that happens a lot. I’d be pretty happy. I mean, I’ve had a busy couple of weeks, but I’ve come through it stronger, undefeated and I’ve proved a point, so I could allow myself a little time glory basking. However, I got this little niggle, this little thing eating away at me, preying on my mind, distracting me and, well it has to be dealt with.

Now loyal viewers I’m not sure what has happened. It could be a simple oversight, a clerical error or just, y’know, an honest mistake. And I dunno if it was JBL himself who’s responsibility it is to check these things or if he has a team that handles that for him, but well, let’s just say somebody has dropped the ball.

The Miz reaches into his pocket

The Miz: Now what I have here is this list of NXT wrestlers competing at King of the Ring. Ok, let’s see who we have here; CM Punk

The crowd cheer over The Miz as he tries to continue

Bully Ray!

Now boos from the crowd, The Miz looks around at the crowd beginning to enjoy the interactivity

Ok who’s next; Zack Ryder!

Cheers, Miz shakes his head and gives a sarcastic thumbs up

Brock Lesnar!

Boos and Miz joins in giving a thumbs down, he then races through the next three names

StingR-truthRhino... I’m sorry viewers but I haven’t got all night! And lastly we have Abyss!

The boos increase

And… the NXT champion, Rand Orton!

The crowd go wild at the mention of Orton’s name; Miz shakes his head and continues

Yeah, yeah, yeah that’s all well and good but the more observant amongst you will notice that someone is missing from that list. Someone important, someone…. Awwwwwwesome!

For some inexplicable reason I have yet to be booked to King of the Ring. I mean, if defies belief, it defies sense! But I’m not out here to whine and moan about it, that’s not what smart people do dear viewers. Smart people get on with it, smart people make their own luck, smart people take matters into their own hands. So with that in mind; I am here tonight to extend an open challenge to anyone in the back, to take me on at King of the Ring!

Dear viewers, I am on fire, I am undefeated and I need to be at King of the Ring. A Monday night off for NXT I can handle, but missing out on the big PPV? Missing out on a chance to stamp my name all over this franchise? Missing out on my chance to take another step towards the NXT Championship title? Well I’m afraid I just can’t let that happen. So… it’s out there, challenge extended to one and all. Who wants to step forward? Who wants to make some history? Who wants become a foot note in my awesome story? I’m waiting…

'Flesh it out' by Blues Saraceno begins playing as Seth Rollins comes from behind the curtain in very escastic mood as he waves his hands around in the air as he gets to the centre of the entrance stage as he begins to slap the stage.

ecdLK.gif

Rollins then walks down the entrance ramp slapping the hands of the fans in the front row, Rollins hops up on the apron as he goes to pose on the corner turnbuckle, Rollins then steps down as he is given a microphone from a ringside worker.

rollins_original_display_image.jpg

Seth Rollins: A challenge? Well Miz, it's quite appealing you've done this because I was going to do the same thing. You want a match at King of the Ring, sure you've got one. It'll be against me! I'll see you there!

Seth Rollins extends his hand, a sign of honour on his part, The Miz however is not willing to shake it and instead throws a punch which Rollins ducks, Rollins catches Miz in the gut with a knee before hitting the ropes and going for the Blackout, he leaps into the air and kicks Miz's head down into the mat with the devastating manoevre causing the crowd to go into raptures. Miz rolls out of the ring holding his head as Rollins celebrates in the ring with the match seemingly now set for King of The Ring.

Before NXT begins with the fireworks and the general greeting from the commentary team, the titantron lights up as the UWF Universe are all a little confused with the break from the usual start. The first image that's seen on everybody's television screens is a big yellow "X" in the background, half of which is blocked by the man occupying the room. Everybody knows who the man is, and that man is Michael McGillicutty, who doesn't look in the most cheerful of moods.

McGillicutty6.png

Michael McGillicutty: Nearly a month ago at Vengeance, NXT's esteemed General Manager, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, also known as simply JBL, announced an eight man tournament that would determine the next challenger to Randy Orton's NXT Championship at the King of the Ring pay-per-view. The tournament was given the name "Gold Rush", signifying the prize on offer for the tournament's eventual winner, a prize all who inhabit the NXT roster all seek. Now there are men who settle for second best, there are men who bite off more than they can chew in their attempts for fame and success, but there are those who seem to get everything just right along the path to glory. There were eight of us who were all seeking to become one of those men that fall under the latter category, but four fell in the Quarter-Finals, two fell in the Semi-Finals, leaving us with two left. Two men, one match, number one contendership on the line, World Championship match booked in two weeks.

McGillicutty pauses momentarily before continuing.

Michael McGillicutty: Those two men that remained had ripped through the competition in their own way, whether that's bulldozing through them with sheer power, or methodically dissecting their opposition in the ring. Whatever manner they accomplished it, the job got done and that's all there is to it, and in one match these two men would collide for an opportunity at a prize some could only dream of. We all witnessed the aforementioned match last Monday night, which saw the final two men, Abyss and Michael McGillicutty, do battle. And that's exactly what it was... a battle, and it was a battle I was proud to be involved in. My face was bloody, my body a wreck, but what I did in that ring was nothing short of spectacular. I assessed the situation early and came to the conclusion that I needed to alter a few pieces of my game plan if I was any chance to leave as the winner and number one contender... but ultimately, I fell short.

McGillicutty looks away for a moment, processing that thought and letting it stew in his mind.

MM1.png

Michael McGillicutty: I fell short in my match against Abyss last week, but in the grander scheme of things I will be the one who comes out on top. I may have been on the wrong end of the result, but I sit here as a man who's proud to claim... that his opponent got lucky. That's the truth, coat it however you like, but that's the truth plain and simple. I'm sure many of you will be sitting there thinking "Get over it... You lost... Suck it up", and if you're one of those people then you're ignorant. You're ignorant, you're blind, and you're pathetic, because the fact of the matter is Abyss got lucky and I know it! Not all of you are idiots, and for those of you who aren't and know exactly where I'm about to go with this, you're excused from listening to what I have to say. As for the rest of you, the mindless, ignorant losers who actually believe Abyss beat me, I want you to listen to what I'm about to tell you. And listen closely.

McGillicutty shifts in his seat, getting himself a little more comfortable.

Michael McGillicutty: I'm a one of a kind superstar, a man who was born into this business and has it coursing through his veins. I improve with every match I have, I steal the show every single night, and I love all that I stand for. If there's something I don't agree with, I'll speak my mind with no fear, but on the flip side I hold no fear when it comes to admitting defeat, a shortcoming, a mistake, whatever. My point is that I wasn't beaten by Abyss last week, and my proof lies on a tape. See after every match I compete in, I review my performance and the overall direction the match took, so the first thing I did when I managed to muster the strength to leave the ring was head to my locker room, clean up, and demand the tape of my match. I sat there for forty minutes and watched that tape, and the moment that I came to the realisation that Abyss didn't beat me came in the final seconds of the match.

McGillicutty slowly nods his head, believing it's true.

McGillicutty2.png

Michael McGillicutty: What I saw is very simple if you go back and watch the match through, but I'll save you all the bother and just explain it right now. It starts with me heading towards the ropes with legs as wobbly as jelly, setting up for the most deadly move in UWF history, the McGillicutter. I came back off the ropes and couldn't avoid a six foot eight, 350 pound human being launching towards me, as I ran straight into an outstretched arm. From there I was lifted off the mat by only a couple of centremetres, hardly spun ninety degrees, and had a massive weight force me to the mat. The minimal impact I had with the ring caused whatever energy I had left to be drained out of me, but it was only because of an arm belonging to a limp and lifeless man who was in the exact same position I was in. Abyss didn't beat me, Abyss fell face first and just happened to have an arm over my chest when he did so. Abyss gave all his remaining energy in getting to his feet and hardly lifting me off the ground, but that's as far as it goes.

McGillicutty now shakes his head from side to side, completely unimpressed.

Michael McGillicutty: I've watched that ending over and over again, and there is no doubt in my mind that Abyss passed out the very moment he attempted to spin me for the Black Hole Slam. I outlasted him, even if it was by a couple of seconds, only passing out myself due to a huge arm collapsing into my chest. When the time comes where I'm beaten, I promise to the world I will stand in that ring and admit that to you all, but that day is not today. I should be the man competing this Sunday at King of the Ring for the NXT Championship, and this match tonight is just JBL's way of saying "You're right Michael, but I refuse to do anything about it". It disgusts me, it really does, but all this "loss" and subsequent match is doing is fuelling my fire. That's why tonight, I'm going to step into that ring and demolish Randy Orton, just like I would at King of the Ring if I was the tournament winner. And after doing that, I hope you all enjoy a weakened Abyss and a weakened Randy Orton fight it out on Sunday night, but just remember that no matter the result, your rightful NXT Champion... is right here.

McGillicutty gets up and moves in towards the camera.

Michael McGillicutty: I'm the Personification of Perfection, and don't any of you forget it!

The camera falls to the floor due to McGillicutty knocking it over on his way out. There's no time for games as NXT immediately moves into its usual proceedings.

WHERE'S ALL MY BROS AT?

100737anigif.gif

The crowd comes unglued as the “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder makes his way out from the back. He seems to be in a great mood as he looks out to some girls in the crowd and yells “Call me!”. He then walks down the ramp towards the ring. Zack then gets to the ring and hops onto the apron and scales the top rope and throws up the LI hand signal.

THE TRUTH... HAS SET ME FREE

V5oCj.gif

Those are the words heard throughout the arena, as the fans erupt in boos! Suddenly, the nXtreme Champion R-Truth makes his way out on the stage, with an angry expression on his face. Truth stops at the entrance stage, as he throws his arms up in the air, screaming out “WHAT’S UP!?” in the process. The fans respond with boos, as Truth spoke to himself, mouthing off insults toward the audience. Truth is currently sporting a white bullet proof vest, and his usual wrestling attire from down low. Truth makes his way down the entrance steps, ignoring the Little Jimmies and Little Jennies trying to get a hand slap. Truth walked over to the steel steps before hiking up them and entering the ring. Truth walked over to the turnbuckle, before climbing up it, raising the nXtreme Championship up in the air to a chorus of boos.

*Ding Ding Ding*

The match begins with the NXTreme Champion arguing with the sold out crowd, it is clear R-Truth does not care for the hatred the UWF Universe likes to send his way. Truth is so busy arguing he forgets about his opponent who comes up behind him and nails him in the back of the head, Ryder of course is looking to get back to his winning ways as he shoots Truth off of the ropes, but the Champion decides it is better to counter and he does and Ryder goes flying. Ryder bounces off the ropes and Truth goes for a clothesline, but Ryder is able to duck under it, Truth turns around staggered as Ryder shoots off the ropes again building speed before dropping Truth with a powerful clothesline! Truth hits the mat hard and immediately rolls out of the ring leaving Ryder hoping to catch his breath. Ryder spends the next moments pandering to the fans with his fist pumping.

Joey Styles: R-Truth appears to be getting distracted by this sold out crowd here tonight and Zack Ryder taking full advantage!

Tazz: I know R-Truth’s mind is a little screwy Joey, but he needs to pull it together so he doesn’t get upset here.

Truth slams his hands into the apron before pulling himself up onto it. Ryder attempts to head him off, but Truth was hoping that was what Ryder would do as he drives his shoulder into Ryder’s midsection. Ryder hunches over and the crowd is impressed as Truth leaps over the top and sunset flips Ryder into the first pinning predicament of the match up.

1…

2…

Ryder shoots out of the attempt at 2 and a quarter.

Styles: What athleticism from the NXTreme Champion, a picture perfect sunset flip that almost got the job done there.

Tazz: Again R-Truth showing he isn’t as crazy as people think having used his smarts to get one over the broski!

Ryder shoots to his feet which may be a mistake as Truth is waiting and nails him in the head with a right hand and a knife edge chop. Truth smiles as he shoots Ryder off the ropes looking to build some momentum, but Truth puts his head down too soon and Ryder is easily able to kick him square in the chest. Ryder looks around thinking for a moment what to do as the crowd cheers him on. He decides to use the ropes and shoots off them, unfortunately Truth has had time to recover and takes Ryder’s head off with a corkscrew scissors kick! The crowd boo loudly as Truth can be heard talking to Little Jimmy as he gets down on the mat and the cover.

1…

2…

3… NO!

Ryder gets a shoulder up at the last millisecond.

Styles: I thought for sure that was going to be it there, but I suppose there is more left in the tank for Zach Ryder than we thought!

Tazz: Ryder’s been doing a lot of talking lately about the NXT World Title, he needs to make JBL serious consider him and kicking out of things like that may just do it!

Truth shouts conspiracy at the official as the crowd begins a Ryder chant. After spending several precious seconds arguing with the official Ryder begins to get back to his feet, Truth turns and seeing Ryder using the ropes attempts to attack, but Ryder counters by sending Truth over the top rope, the Champion however has the wherewithal to land feet first on the apron and the crowd sigh not seeing Truth bite the dust. Instead Truth tries to get in a right hand to Ryder, but the Broski responds with a right hand of his own. Truth staggers backwards, losing his balance, but he grabs the top rope and hangs on for dear life. He pulls himself back in with great effort, but it buys Ryder enough time to prepare and land a dropkick onto the NXTreme Champion. The move hits Truth with so much force he goes flying off the apron and chest first into the ring barricade! The crowd cheers as Truth looks completely wasted on the outside while Ryder remains on the mat trying to catch his breath.

Styles: What a great set of counter after counter there and allows Ryder to hit a big move to get himself right back into this match up partner.

Tazz: The Champion looks like he hit a truck after hitting that ring barricade JR. Can the Broski from Long Island capitalize now!?

Ryder rolls out of the ring after several seconds before standing above his opponent. The crowd wants Ryder to hurt the Champion. Ryder picks up the Champion and fist pumps the air getting the crowd riled up before lifting Truth up and sending him chest first back into the barricade with a snake eyes! Truth is rolling around on the ground until he finds himself in a seated position up against the steel steps. Ryder gets a sick smile on his face as he slaps his knee signaling he wants to boot Truth’s head into the steps. Ryder sets and lunges but Truth is able to move out of the way and Ryder kicks the steps. The crowd is clearly upset Ryder missed the Broski kick, and they get even more angry when Truth comes up behind Ryder grabs him by the head and the tights and throws him shoulder first into said steel steps! Truth than takes a second to slide into the ring and back out ending the count and starting a new one.

Styles: And another back and forth exchange from these two men, I’m quite impressed with both men here tonight so far.

Tazz: R-Truth better be more careful here Joey, he’s got that big title defense inside a steel cage this Sunday, and you know Sting and Rhino are just watching this match hoping he injures himself and thus make it easier for them to win the title in just a few short days.

Truth looks down on Ryder who is holding his shoulder in agony and Truth being the douche that he is decides to drive a boot right into Ryder’s shoulder. Ryder tries hard to crawl away but Truth is just toying with him as he rushes up and nails Ryder in the shoulder again! With a demented smile on his face Truth decides to bring Ryder up to his feet and in one move lifts Ryder up onto his shoulder in a running powerslam position, and turns towards the steel ring post. The crowd boo realizing what Truth wants to do here and he begins rushing towards the post, looking to drive Ryder’s shoulder into the turnbuckle, but at the last moment Ryder slides off and shoves Truth face first into the post and thus wiping the smile off of Truth’s face to the delight of the crowd. Ryder quickly slides into the ring and stays there as the official begins the long 10 count.

Styles: It looks like Ryder wants to win this match via countout Tazz.

Tazz: A win is a win Joey, but I wonder if everything’s ok with Ryder, its not like him not to attack when he’s on the offensive.

Truth remains down as the official gets to 3 as Ryder is in the ring trying to get full range of motion in his arm. At 5 Truth begins to stir and by 7 he has crawled his way to the apron. By 8 he has reached his feet and looks as if he is going to get into the ring when Ryder shoots off the ropes and lands a baseball slide right into the chin of the Champion, Truth goes flying back into the barricade hard, but at the cost of restarting the count. This time however Ryder doesn’t want to wait till 10 instead heads out and picks up Truth before tossing him back into the ring. Truth’s momentum rolls him to the center of the ring, meanwhile Ryder heads up to the top rope. The crowd cheer as the broski gets to the top rope and fist pumps for the crowd as Truth gets to his feet. Once on his feet Ryder leaps off looking for a big crossbody, he connects but the Champion somehow manages to use Ryder’s momentum against him and flip Ryder onto his back and goes for the cover.
1…

2..

3. NO!

Ryder kicks out!

Styles: Ryder’s attempt at that crossbody nearly cost him the match up Tazz.

Tazz: You got to give credit to Ryder for taking a big chance there, but bigger credit has to go out to the NXTreme Champion on the tremendous counter that almost got him the victory.

Truth and Ryder get to their feet and Truth is quickly kicked in the gut before Ryder attempts to go for the Rough Ryder, but Truth spins out and grabs Ryder looking for the Reverse STO, however Ryder spins out and throws Truth up into a fireman’s carry, but Ryder doesn’t see where he is going and Truth’s legs hit the official knocking him down. The crowd boo as Ryder sees it and hesitates, allowing Truth to slide off of the shoulders. Ryder goes forward looking to hit something big, but Truth lashes out with a kick right into the balls of Ryder!

Joey Styles: Blatant Low Blow!

Tazz: Official is down Joey, which means its legal!

With Ryder holding on to his manhood in agony he is easy prey for Truth who grabs him and hits him with the Reverse STO known as Little Jimmy! The crowd boo as Truth goes for the cover yelling loudly for the official. After several seconds the ref turns and begins the count.

1…

Joey Styles:
Not this way! Not this way!

2…

Tazz:
Got to give it up for Ryder, but Truth finds a way to win here!

3… NO!

Ryder gets the shoulder up!

Joey Styles: Oh MY GOD!

Tazz: Ryder kicked out?! Are you kidding me?

The crowd are on their feet going nuts as Truth begins arguing with the official saying it was a slow count. The official responds the same way he always does telling Truth Ryder kicked out! Shouting a conspiracy Truth turns back towards his opponent and decides to pick him up. He brings Ryder to his feet being held up by the ropes and Truth sets to nail him with something nasty as he stands in the center of the ring preparing to lunge when the lights go out!

Joey Styles: Uh-oh! You know what this means Tazz!

Tazz: Where is he? Where is the Icon?

The lights come back on and everyone is disappointed to see no Sting. His bat however is indeed in the ring sitting in the corner right next to Truth. Truth sees it and looks like he’s seen a Ghost, clearly the Icon was right next to Truth and he didn’t even know it. The distraction costs Truth as Ryder comes rushing at him with a final burst of energy and drops the NXTreme Champion to the mat with a Rough Ryder! The crowd goes nuts as Ryder goes for the cover.

1…

2…

3…

Here is your Winner of the Match: Zack Ryder!

Styles: He did it! Zack Ryder has defeated the NXTreme Champion here tonight!

Tazz: Ryder wins with a major assist from the Icon! Where is he?

Tazz is answered as the Icon is seen standing up in the rafters of the arena looking down at the fallen NXTreme Champion. Ryder meanwhile in the ring has his hand raised in victory clearly stoked at having picked up a huge victory heading into his match at KOTR with Lesnar. The last image we see is of Sting in the rafters followed by a fallen NXTreme Champion!

We're taken to a room which looks like an office. An empty office is being filmed by a careman when all of a sudden, here comes The Monster, Abyss.

2v8n90i.jpg

Abyss: Hey you. Yes, you useless people in the arena. I want you to listen.

People boo Abyss.

Abyss: You might be wondering where I am right now. Do you not see this room? It is an office, JBL's office. Why am I here? Because I am the number one contender for the NXT Championship which mea
ns I can do whatever I want to do. See, this office represents what I hate about world. Who would sit in an office like this? Someone like JBL, Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman or some other corporate man. All men I mentioned are the same. They do not care about anything except their bank accounts. They are all about making money. They do not care who watches their shows, who pays for tickets. All they care about is money, suits, alcohol, cheap women who open their legs when they smell money. These men control all of you but more importantly, they control the wrestling industry. But hey...do not worry about that. I will soon make sure they do not. When I finally win the NXT Championship I will take over this brand and then, over this company and I will make sure you get what you pay for, I will make sure that the golden age of wrestling makes its return.

Abyss sits behind JBL's table and continues.

Abyss: This is the most uncomfortable chair in the world. Anyway...let's talk about something more relevant then chairs. When I was told that I am a part of the Gold Rush tournament I knew I was going to win the whole thing. I told every single one of you that I am your future NXT Champion but you did not listen to me. If you would have listened to me, it would be a lot easier for you to settle in with the idea of me being your champion but no, you did not listen to me so you, here you have it. I am going to King of The Ring to win the NXT Championship. You cannot imagine how good it feels when the NXT Championship is soon to be mine...I know you cannot imagine it because there is not a men in the crowd right now that could become a wrestler.

People boo Abyss once again.

Abyss: Anyway...about the King of The Ring Pay-Per-View. As far as the concept goes...I do not like it. I do not like it because there is only one king of the ring in UWF and that is me. Do not believe me? October 28th...watch...watch me as I win the NXT Champion and prove that I am the king of the ring.

Abyss begins to laugh and the scene fades to black.

tumblr_m6zaojVT191r6v2bdo1_250.gif

"And The Horse He Rode In On" by Reluctant Hero bursts through the speakers spread throughout the arena, as the crowd in attendance begin to boo Michael McGillicutty's arrival. McGillicutty takes a moment before he emerges from the back, a smirk accompanying his face, while he gazes out at the filled to capacity arena. McGillicutty stands at the top of the stage, spreads his legs and throws his arms out, followed by a confident roar and a steely glare directly towards the ring. McGillicutty's confidence is evident. McGillicutty takes a few moments to soak in the hostile atmosphere before he proceeds to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring. People can be seen hanging over the barriers and slinging abuse at the cocky third generation superstar, who has made his way to ringside and opts to walk up the steel steps. McGillicutty enters the ring, McGillicutty just heads over into a corner and stands facing the titantron.

scaled.php

'Ripper' hits the PA system and the crowd go wild. It's not long before Orton walks out from behind the curtain with a cold icy stare transfixed on the ring and his opponent that stands in it. His arm is wrapped in a cast. His NXT Championship draped over his shoulder. He walks down the ramp with the crowd cheering him on and he wastes no time in getting into the ring and up onto the top rope where he raises the title up into the air with his good left hand as opposed to his injured arm obviously. Orton then steps down and goes into his corner as the announcements are made.

*Ding Ding Ding*

Joey Styles: We’re Taz, it’s time to see if Michael McGillicutty can cut it with the best now he’s facing Randy Orton.

Taz: Joey, Randy Orton has Abyss this Sunday, so you have to wonder how focused Randy Orton is on Michael McGillcutty?

Orton and McGillicutty square eachother in the centre of the ring before locking it up in a collar and elbow tie up; both men already struggling for positive but the much more physically imposing Randy Orton forcing McGilliutty backwards towards the corner; McGuillicutty tries to put on the breaks but it’s futile as Orton slams McGuillicutty’s back against the turnbuckle; Orton breaks the hold clearly but McGuillicutty fires back with a thunderous slap across the cheek of Orton. Orton smirks and rubs his cheek before returning fire with an louder slap of his own, sending McGuillicutty’s gum flying up into the air; McGuillicutty charges at Randy Orton but Orton counters with a Scoop Slam; slamming McGuillicutty down on the canvas, Orton quickly grabs the leg of McGuillicutty.

One…

Two…

Joey Styles: I think Randy Orton is getting in the head of McGuillicutty here!

Taz: Signs of a great talent.

McGuillicutty kicks out!
Orton shakes his head as he grabs McGuillity by the head and hauls him up to a vertical base but McGuillicutty takes a cheap shot to the gut of Randy Orton before grabbing Orton over with a hiptoss straight onto the canvas straight into a headlock. McGuillicutty has Orton pinned down on the canvas as McGuillicutty arches back and has an inverted sleeper hold locked in on Randy Orton but Orton is still fighting back and attempts to escape lifting his leg up and attempts to grab McGuillicutty into a headscissor take down but McGuillicutty manages to allude Orton’s flailing Leg and arches forward before flipping over into a inverted Sleeper hold with a Bridge; trapping Orton on the canvas even more. But Orton’s shoulders are on the mat for the count.

One…

Two…

Taz: Well, after a blip in the beginning, McGuillicutty has seemingly gained control.

Joey Styles: It’s an interesting turns of events.

Randy Orton rolls his shoulder off the canvas!
The fans cheer but Orton is having a hard time keeping his shoulder off the canvas with all the weight of McGuillicutty coming down across his shoulders but Orton has a plan, as Orton uses his size and strength to his advantage, arching himself up with McGuillicutty, both men slowly rise upwards from Orton’s strength; Orton and McGuillicutty both spin on the spot as Randy Orton leaps up into the air and goes for the RKO but McGuillicutty manages to push Orton away, Orton turns around straight into an Elbow Smash but Orton ducks underneath and grabs the neck of McGuillicutty straight into the his variation of the backbreaker; sending McGuillicutty crashing down onto the canvas. Orton rolls back to his feet and is seemingly begins to stalk to McGuillicutty, waiting for his moment to pounce again.

Taz: It looks like Orton is ready to deliver an RKO!

Joey Styles: It might be coming soon!

McGuillicutty slowly gets back up to a vertical base as Randy Orton seemingly gets ready for the RKO when suddenly the staging and titantron suddenly explodes in flames, distracting Randy Orton enough for McGuillicutty to grab Orton by the front of his trunk and drag him down towards the ropes, Orton’s neck gets slammed down across the middle rope ; allowing McGuillicutty to roll up Orton as Abyss appears on the titantron to watch on eagerly.

One…

Two…

Joey Styles: Damnit, Abyss just cost Orton the match!

Taz: ahh Joey, Orton isn’t out of this till the bell rings!

Three…

No! Orton kicks out!
McGuillicutty can’t believe it, holding his head in frustration but the action isn’t over as Randy Orton rolls back onto his knees and is seemingly trying to shake the cobwebs as McGuillicutty grabs him by the head and begins to haul Orton back up to his feet and suddenly from nowhere… BOOM! RKO! The fans erupt into a huge series of cheers as Randy Orton smirks and rolls McGuillicutty onto his back and hooks the leg of McGuillicutty.

One…

Two…

Joey Styles: Oh my god! AN RKO OUT OF NOWHERE!

Taz: Ahh man, Orton seemingly just popped out, Abyss has to be wondering, how can stop that move!?

Three…

*Ding Ding Ding*

Winner of the match via pinfall, the NXT World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton!!!

Randy%20Orton.png

Orton rolls back to his feet as Abyss snarls and crosses his arms together and snarls before roaring and unleashing his arms, suddenly the ring collapses around Orton as Abyss then slams his fists down to his sides, causing flames shoot up around him as he disappears to the backstage leaving Randy Orton to stumble back to his feet and hold his NXT Championship high above his head, pondering what's going to happen at King of the Ring as the show comes to an end...

EXCELLENT SHOW! Quite impressed with everything. Don't know why, but I'm very happy to have been the only one from my match to have a promo in. 8D

Miz/Rollins being announced for Halloween Havok is pretty amazing, especially considering it's all SD! Great stuff, matches were wicked. You guys should be proud!

Oops totally my bad! Its King of the Ring not Halloween Havok. I'm exhausted and did that on Auto Pilot. Correcting it now. Sorry for the confusion!

Absolutely awesome show!

Managed to get a win and now I got The Miz to get through, good to see my pal Ryder grabbing a huge upset there as well!

Very good show, looking forward to KOTR.

Re: UWF NXT Presents 10/23/12 Edition!

Can't say I'm at all happy with my match as it ruins my promo, especially since my promo was kinda supposed to go before the show as you can tell. The feeling of really not even being given the chance to put up a fight is a shit one, and then to lose cleanly kinda rubs it in further. Oh well.

The rest of the show was very good, I have to say. That Rollins/Miz match should produce in the coming days seeing how both are coming up with the goods as of late. Big win for Ryder too over R-Truth, and I love how all the feuds are being touched on. Ray yelling "Punk is a pussy" after his match was great as it shows his focus is still Punk. So yeah, my complaints aside, it was another nice show!

Me and Bumout had a nice session, and it was pretty good to get the win as I thought we were pretty close. But yes.... All focus on Punk. Expect a promo for KOTR. #PunkBomb

As for the rest, was a nice show, The Miz and Rollins should be a good read if they both start TT'ing immediately. Orton... Abyss.... I'm comin.

I actually feel like I have to apologize to you Lewb as I wasn't really feeling my second TT and it took me awhile to reply. Other than that we had a good show. We had some good promos from everyone.

Monday Night NXT 11/5/12 Preview!

UWFNXTFirstBanner.png

Now that an awesome King of the Ring is in the books, it is time for the black and yellow brand to bust out what's next on the road to Survivor Series! With Randy Orton still perched atop the brand as the NXT World Champion, the landscape remains the same in one respect, but with Sting capturing the NXTreme Championship it has changed entirely in another respect. Speaking of Sting, with General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield away on family leave, the reigns have been left in his dark and mysterious care. What does that mean for Monday nights?

Episode Eight: Trial By Scorpion

Sting has made it his goal as interim General Manager to see exactly what the superstars of NXT are made of. It is all about testing out the talent and giving them a chance to prove themselves.

Sting is a man that believes in second chances, and no one on the NXT roster is more in need of one than Sheamus. Sheamus is a man that has a lot of promise, but has unfortunately hit a bump in the road that has stalled his momentum. By teaming him up with Brock Lesnar, Sheamus has the opportunity to turn his back luck around and fulfill the potential everyone knows he has, while Brock has the opportunity to prove that he can show up for work on time and live up to his hype of being the most dominating force to enter a wrestling ring.

As for their opponents, Sting is giving them the chance to prove that while they like to joke, they can be serious when they need to be and should be taken that way. Who better to prove that against than two monstrous individuals like the "Irish Curse" and the "Ass Kicker"?

With the NXTreme Championship changing hands, the former holder of the belt is guaranteed a rematch, but that won't be coming tonight. Instead Sting is pitting his foe against one of the most dominant men in the company in Bully Ray. Will Bully Ray prove that he's as legit as legit gets, or will R-Truth's anger in defeat be too much to overcome?

After losing at King of the Ring to The Miz and Randy Orton, respectively, Seth Rollins and Abyss have the opportunity to redeem themselves and get back in the winner's column. In the case of The Miz and Zack Ryder, things are going their way as far as victories go. When these men collide in a fatal-four way match, who will catch Sting's eye and who will fail to impress?

Rhino unfortunately does not have the guaranteed rematch, but that only makes his hunger for another shot at the NXTreme Championship stronger. Sting has decided to put his other enemy against stiff competition as well, as the "Man Beast" must try his luck against one of the most impressive men on Monday nights, Michael McGillicutty. Will Rhino be able to Gore his way back to what was almost his, or is McGillicutty the off switch for the "War Machine"?

Re: Monday Night NXT 11/5/12 Preview!

Wow most of the roster has a match this week. Looks to be a very good show. Glad to see my tag team have their first tag match. Time to end the losing streak! Quick question though, how do we go about the order? Them, me, them, me or me and then both of them one after the other? That fatal four way should be an awesome match.

Good question. I'm going to say you, them, you, them. I just hope it's you, Brock, you, Sheamus or vice versa otherwise they'll be a one man team trash talking wise.
