"Make The Amazing Spider-Man 3" is trending on social media and rumors mention Sony being interested in bringing Garfield back to play the character with Hardy's Venom. To be honest I'm just happy there's a new trilogy with Holland in the plans because I don't trust Sony anymore with this franchise.

Damn Snydercut making people think they can bully studios into making movies nobody really wants.

Maybe people should do hashtags like #MakeOriginalMovies #NoMoreRemakesAndReboots #SupportIndieFilms

Yeah I am really curious to see how far this goes now that we got a taste of Tobey and Andrew reprising their roles. We all know these studios never like to leave money on the table so I’m sure we’ll see these two suites up again some time

That being said I actually DONT want to see them in solo films. Tom Holland just became the spider man we all wanted him to become. Let him have his own movies and be Spider Man without having other people play the character.

Garfield in Venom could work.....probably going to do a running gag where Venom is disappointed that Garfield isn't Tom Holland to explain that credit scene where he had symbiote-wood for him.

I don’t want Garfield anywhere near that fucking awful franchise.

I never actually thought about it but it's true that Tom Holland's Spider-Man always had a co-star in every solo movie he did (Stark, Fury, Strange).
Time for him to get his own now. I hope they get a better director too because the action scenes in those movies got nothing on Sam Raimi's.
Seriously most of the action scenes in the original trilogy are better than what we have had in the MCU so far.

I should've said Venom was "symbi-hot" for Tom Holland's Spider-Man

the final battle in No Way Home is better than the Raimi movies imo. The first two are probably equal.

I shit you not my very first thought after the movie wrapped up was that Sony needed to make amazing Spiderman three since the two studio do share the IP and the MCU made the multi-verse canon so there isn’t a reason why you can’t have two Spiderman franchises going. And Garfield had such a great ark in this movie you have to see it continue in my opinion.

I want to say that when I first popped in here but I figured I’d let more people see the movie before I mentioned it but I guess the cats out of the bag now.

I feel like on it’s own it’s not a great movie but who cares it was still a ton of fun and probably my favorite flick in awhile.

In terms of direction I have to disagree, it lacks some truly iconic shots such as Doc Ock vs Tobey on the train or Harry on the board-glider vs Tobey. It was a cool scene but Raimi really knows how to get you invested in the fights:

Actually I was wrong about the final fight. If anything, the Norman/Peter fight from NWH was better than the raimi movies. Brutal, visceral, emotional.
