And usually if a concussion is really bad there's more to it such as bleeding in the brain from the impact or bruising.. a standard concussion is just the brain and the tip of the stem it's connected to moving.. 5-7 is usually the magic numberAll it takes is one bad one. Hart didn't retire because of a concussion, he retired because he suffered a stroke... Not the same... And yeah, some had to retire because of concussions, as I said and you quoted...They certainly can. There have been plenty of athletes. Specifically in football and hockey that have had to retire because of post concussion syndrome. Not to mention it was the reason Bret hart was forced to retire.
