And then this happened

Now his career is officially in the shitter again.

You're joking, right? Cocky, arrogant, womanizer Ziggler is awesome. Look at the success he's had in WWE, with either Vickie or AJ. Summer Rae was wasted on Fandango. He's now far more likely to get a push.

He'll get a push by feuding with Fandango? Okay then lol

Well that's a bit silly. They may possibly have one match in which Ziggler squashes him and then moves onto bigger and better things with Summer Rae. Wouldn't really call that a feud.

Oh yeah, like having an on-screen partner means you will never get a push:

Okay.. so you show 4 couples.. all 4 couples made up of a man and a woman who are BOTH skilled on the mic and in the ring... all these couples complement each other wonderfully.. and then you have Dolph and Summer Rae... Dolph is skilled for sure on the mic and in the ring.. but Summer Rae is not skilled at all at either thing...

Sorry, just not very convincing to me. =)

Next Mr. Wrestlemania... 2 million votes... 80% for Ziggler... this "10% of the fanbase" is a load of horseshit when the dude's getting pops every damn night when most people would have given up on the guy by now...
It's difficult to be Mr. Wrestlemania when you're thirty-three years old and yet to have a singles match at the event itself
We could have an argument until we are blue in the face of how HBK makes Ziggs look like an absolute choir boy.

Let's look at the fact that Ziggs has a poor offensive moveset and doesn't carry himself the way a main eventer should
Dolph Ziggler walks to the ring as if he still has something to prove to the fans, when that couldn't be further from the truth.
His arrogance is missing. Steve Austin mentioned Mr. Kennedy that he was seeking to please too many people. He was right.
WWE did a disservice by putting him with Vickie, but may have gotten away with it if she wasn't so heavily featured.
WWE has shattered Ziggs confidence a number of times, but some of the blame should go to Ziggs himself.

John Cena going to bat for Ziggler in late 2012 should speak volumes. Cena knows dedication when he sees it and he saw it in Ziggler.
I really don't see how Ziggs is anymore injury prone than Batista, but oh well.

When was the poll taken? If Punk is an option it's been a while; Ziggler probably wasn't in such a slump, and the upper card most likely consisted of older talent. With all of the changes since then I can't Ziggler getting another hefty push, unless it's for a midcard belt.

Well, the IWC may very well be 10% of the fanbase but I think at this point it's been established that everyone loves Ziggler. :dawg:

100% this ^^

If Ziggler were a part of the Kliq he would be in the main event scene, no issues or consideration. We could argue Ziggler > Hbk until we are blue in the face, because the argument has plenty of people on both sides. Certain stars get shit on in WWE, it's been a fact for 2+ decades now easily, that's just the way it goes. You can outsell 80% of the WWE competitors in the merchandise dept, you can get cheers 2nd only to DB and you can sell with the cred to make shitbags look like superstars, but if you don't have the pull in the back, it means jack shit.

It's just a simple fact of life. Anyone at any job can be one of the best at what they do, but like the Pat Patterson Vince Mcmahon and many other top tier officials straight or otherwise era of sexual favors went, this industry is pretty much take it up the ass or your character will.
