a super mod reinforced the fact that if you edited within a minute, we couldn't see it, which changed the perception of the game for a quite a few people. I think you can see it as while perhaps not rule breaking, can be seen as quite distasteful and not really in the spirit of the game.

Now to say we would have won other wise is silly as we were in a bad position from the get go, and the scum team played incredibly coy. I don't think it's that outrageous that people would be a bit upset with you however, given the recent climate.

I personally believe you acted in bad faith with the express intent of gaming the system to garner a cheap read.

To put it this way, you lied about having broken a rule with the intent on making yourself cheaply confirmed town.

That's against the integrity of the game and goes beyond lying as scum for survival.

I agree Smark should never have commented on it while he was mafia, that's the only thing I agree on

Seems like Rugrat is the only person who fell for that. Everyone else seemed fine with considering lynching me after the claim and Lethal even shot me, so yeah I'm putting this down to butthurt

Didn't game the system at all, I deceived (or rather tried to, only Rugrat seemed to fall for it, but he did manage to convince others, which is his fault) the players, which is what you're supposed to do as scum

If we want to make a rule that says mafia can't pretend to have edited posts, if town players in this section really need the handicap, then fine

But saying the game shouldn't be canon or proposing a game ban over it is lunacy and just makes you look like a sore loser

I was still in people's scum lists. I still got shot. I still saved my teammate HOL from being lynched. HOL and Big Man still managed to convince you guys they were town late on. We convinced you guys lethal was lying as the vig. Scum played very well this game and deserved the win. Everyone on the team.

People seriously are whining about CP lying of editing post?

He was scum, that's what scum do, they lie.

What you expected an honest scum?

Sure, lets play next game so that all scum members need to claim right up front they are scum.

Sure, lying about something as editing post isn't exactly what you guys usually do. But maybe, just maybe.. you oughta not buy into every little detail in the game.

People lie, thats what they do.

CP wasn't believed as confirmed town by anyone except Rugrat, and Lethal even shot at him and wondered if he got blocked because he didn't die.

If Lethal's shot had gone through, CP would have died, you guys would have seen the scum flip and figured "oh he lied about edit, big deal. He's ded"

But he swept the whole town team. Not bad from a player who's won these games for years now.

I'm sure Magic doesn't have problem with the edit thing, or does he?
