Damn wrestling and their incessant pushing of Canadian nationalism.

Re: You're Top OMG Moments?

So what, Luger's had more significance. He stood up for America.

Hey Einstein, Ahmed's slam of Yokozuna had more significance because it was a win for Urban America!

By the way, Ahmed could have been World Champion... such a waste.

Re: You're Top OMG Moments?

It's not but it really looked like no one could do it. Then all of a sudden Luger came down on a helicopter to accept the challenge. When he did it, it was like OMG. Nobody remembers Ahmed doing it

By chance, when did you first see it? What year was it and how old were you then?

As far as people not remembering Ahmed's, could it be that the WWE hasn't hyped it since then, whereas, they still do with the Lex Luger one? In addition, the Luger one set-up Luger's 9 month main event run with the company. Ahmed's slam was just to make this brand new wrestler seem like someone special. So 15 years after both moments, Luger's moment would obviously be seen as a bigger fashion. However, that doesn't diminish Ahmed's less predictable slam nor does it take away the fact that Yokozuna was a hell of a lot heavier in late 1995 than he was in July 1993.

By the way, Ahmed could have been World Champion... such a waste.

Thank God the injuries occurred because Ahmed was the drizzling shits. The idea of Ahmed main eventing shows in favor of quality Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker PPV title matches in 1996-1997 are what nightmares are born out of.
----

BTW, can a staff member please fix the title?

Fixed.

Thank goodness is right. Dude was greener than goose shit. You see what became of him after he left WWF/E?

His run as Big T in late 1999 with WCW still DOES give me nightmares. At least it didn't last long and my sanity is grateful for that.

Eh, Big T was completely forgettable. In that whole Harlem Heat angle, Big T coming in wasn't even the worse thing. I mean, Booker T losing the "T" in his name? How is that supposed to add any interest in a match?

The worst part is they kept up that angle of dropping the "T" for nearly eight months, long after Big T disappeared.

If I recall correctly he didn't "regain" his T until the Bash at the Beach where he won his first world title.
