Okay...here's how this thread works. You vote for teams 1-30...with 26-30 being the team who gets the most receiving votes...after tonight's chaos (no pun intended) with LSU and Cal getting beaten by Kentucky and Oregon State respectively...that leaves the obvious #1 choice...Ohio State...now you decide who the Top 25 teams are...I don't think you should vote on Game Day since the team that you put at #1 earlier that day..loses...okay..here's my Top 25 poll.

I won't add my Top 25 since some people think I'm biased toward Big 12 teams but I really don't care. I'll tally the votes up on Friday October 19th and we'll have our own Top 25 poll...but I will add my Top 5 poll weekly.

I'm shocked that Oklahoma actually got a 1st place vote in the AP...I'm also shocked that South Florida beat UCF and moved in front of Boston College who is 7-0. I think that the fan poll is shit since Oklahoma beat the #11 team in the country and they still put a team who was beat by the #16 team ahead of Oklahoma. I don't think that Cal should've went as far back as they did in the AP when LSU only dropped 4 spots and got to #5...okay, when the BCS comes out later this year....I think the Top 5 will look like this

I don't think that South Florida deserves to be in the Top 5 of the BCS when it comes out later in the year because I think they'll lose next week to Rutgers and I think that they haven't played enough good teams. Now some people will say "They beat #5 WVU"....yeah...but all of the above mentioned teams played harder games and better opponents.

Sorry for the double post, but this needed to be posted. Yesterday the first BCS rankings came out and it was really shocking to me to see who was #2 on that poll...if the season were to end right now...the National Championship game would be #1 Ohio State vs. #2


















South Florida.

Here's the Top 5 in the BCS...I just think it's bullshit that LSU is where they are.

Sorry Ohio State...let me know when you play someone other than Akron of some other DII school. Plus the schedule they have is the 2nd easiest in the country. Not worthy of any ranking for me.

Don't care about South Florida and quite frankly a lot of their games have been close so...no dice here. And Big East = OVERRATED!

Oklahoma lost to Colorado of all teams and they have no business in the BCS.

I f'n hate BC, and don't care if they finish 80-0! They don't belong in the BCS period!

You can't tell me that LSU should still be #1 since they lost to Kentucky....where's USF? Where's BC? Where's WVU? Look who Oklahoma's beaten and the scores....Beat North Texas 79-10, Beat Miami 51-13, Beat Tulsa 62-21, Beat Utah State 54-3, Beat Texas by 7, beat #11 Mizzou by 11....you're high if you don't think that OU should be in the Top 5...and Colorado is a conference opponent...the Big XII is one of the best conferences in College Football.

If that's the case look at who LSU plays in the freaking SEC! It's tough to win away at home...but they lost on the road to a good team. That is the problem with the SEC each team is not going out of conference play unscathed. It happens every year. I don't even like LSU! I still feel they are #1 right now b/c I think they can beat any team (except Kentucky) in the country.

OU isn't in my top 5 right now. They only played Texas and Mizzou, and Texas kinda is down right now...if they improve their record than it would show me they deserve a better ranking. Miami, Tulsa, and NT suck!

South Florida - c'mon you know OU would crush them 66-10. They don't deserve to be up there.

WVU - Once again Big East is overrated. Next to the Big 12.

I f'n hate Boston College as much as I hate Ohio State. They don't deserve to be anywhere in the top5, and they haven't played anybody decent either.

^ Tulsa is a pretty good team this year, they beat BYU, they kicked the shit out of Marshall when I went the other night....damn that was an ass whooping. But anyways, IDK how people say the Big 12 is overrated when you look at how many good teams there are, Tech, A&M, OU, OSU, Tex, KU, KSU, Mizzou, Colorado, Nebraska

Big 12 is good this year, but the last few...eh other than OU and Texas...I don't remember the conference being this strong...let alone the big 12 north in a long time.

I'll have to hand it to OSU the coach backed his player up and ripped the media person a few weeks back.

I hate BYU! I refuse to recognize them as a team

Yeah, I think Gundy was right to back up his player when he was getting bashed. I'm tired of people going "I think Mike Gundy should be fired for this" BULLSHIT...he just backed up his player and he didn't personally bash the media woman up that bad...I think he did the right thing. BYU is okay...but I don't think that they're bowl material IMO

Just saw the Rutgers beat USF. I just never thought they would be any good, or even National Championship material.
