Your Mount Rushmore - Sports Edition

So this is 100% a piggyback idea from the Wrestling thread. I don't deny it.

I just thought it would be interesting to see who people would have in terms of Sports.

Now this is quite a wide ranged idea so I am leaving it up to you guys how you want to handle it.

If you only follow one Sport for example and want to just do one for NFL for example then fine.

If you wanna do more than one across different Sports, fine.

And ultimately if you want to put one together with multiple Sporting athletes on one mountain then go for it.

That really depends on how we're defining our Mount Rushmore.

If we're going by personal favorites that played for certain teams, my Mt. Rushmore would probably look like:

- Fran Tarkenton: Greatest Minnesota Vikings QB of all time, bar none, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

- Mikko Koivu: The face of the Minnesota Wild hockey team since his debut in 2005. Holds much of the team records (alongside Marion Gaborik).

- Kirby Puckett: The man is perhaps the most beloved sports figure in the entire history of the state's history. His career was cut tragically short after 12 years due to glaucoma combined with a broken jaw. He's considered a top-5 Minnesota Twin alongside Rod Carew, Harmon Killebrew, Joe Mauer, and Kent Hrbek.

- Kevin Garnett: Was easily the best player on the Minnesota Timberwolves for years and he could have been a member of the team longer if not for ownership being trash.

But, if we're going all sports, then probably the list Chris stated.

For each sport though:

NFL:

Offense:

Joe Montana, Jim Brown, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice

Defense:

Alan Page, Lawrence Taylor, Paul Krause, and Sean Taylor (Honorary)

Kickers:

Adam Vinatiari, George Blanda, Justin Tucker, and Morten Anderson

Coaches:

Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichick, Don Shula, and Paul Brown

NHL:
