I have no problem falling asleep to silence but I tend to either have my TV on with energy saving mode (darkened screen so it is not as bright) and a 90 minute timer and some documentary on it.

Musicwise I easily fall asleep to Hewdig's theme from the Harry Potter films. Very well composed music which puts me right to sleep.
