That's what last years youth movement should have achieved. It sort of achieved something with Miz and Ziggler, but it could have done much better.

I'll concede to your point on the premise HBK, Edge, Batista (HHH/Taker) all retired in the past two years

In hindsight, we'll see if this era can replicate the Ruthless Aggression in terms of elevating/replacing talent

Giving Crayo credit to his point, I'll thrown how much I loved the in-ring product during those years on top of it

Isn't the PG Era still going on?

Edit: Things haven't really changed since then. The booking and the show are the same as it was before 2011, other than the CM Punk angle.

It's sort of called the reality era now.

WWE need to use the likes of HHH, Taker, Rock and Kane to put over the young boys. Cena doesn't need it, Orton doesn't, give HHH to Punk and use Punk as a current Steve Austni type character. He'll draw.

The Attitude Era, hands down:

- characters
- attractive undercard and midcard
- atmosphere was off the charts
- edgy, controversial stories
- fantastic promos
- everyone was more relaxed
- memorable PPVs
- RAW Is WAR
- Austin/Vince feud
- fantastic crowds

Of course, there was a ton mind-fucking CRAP, but at least it was entertaining and lulzworthy.

Loved the HCTP era. Lesnar was a monster with story development, and you had Muhammed Hassan, Jindrak, Ronald Dupree, Booker T, Good Cena, Kane, ABA.. loved it. The attitude era wasn't as focused on multiple things like HCTP was.

Whats up with the "current era from june" thingy? Theres no current change of era, the "shitty pg era" is still ongoing.

On topic:
Attitude Era without a single doubt, unquestionably. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just insulting themselves.
AE is the best simply because it changed wrestling to what it is today, before the AE it was mostly good guy vs bad guy matches, the good guys were almost always super humen like cena.
AE changed the whole angle of WWE, introduced storylines, made the heels more credible, more omg moments, more attitude more everything.

Here comes the Pain will probably be second because it still had almost everything the AE had. However the shock value and attitude declined.

After that i will put the Golden age of wrestling, simply because of all the legends that have been in it.

After that the Ruthless Agression Era will come, it was a good show, however it was the era when the midcard start deteorating. The midcarders were being ignored more and more, the feuds started only revolved the main eventers and upper mid carders.

After that the Era u called Rebuilding, was pretty much almost as bad as the PG era.

And the lastly, the current PG Era. For reasons that everyones aware of.

So it changed wrestling to what it is today but we have wrestling like we've got the super hero style of wrestlers again today? Not to mention Austin coming down and stunnering 6/7 guys at one time isn't considered super human?

Havent u heard of the fact that history repeats itself? Look austin's character was totally different from cena's, i have seen this argument a lot of times and its just toally wrong. If u want to relate someone of the current era with austin, cm punk is more like it. There gimmicks are just totally different.
Cena is a superman who never backs down from challenges and is a kid's favourite and is always truthful and honest.
Austin doesnt give a shit about truth, honesty, or shit like that, he likes to come to the ring, raise hell, beat the shit out of people , and leave.
The later is much more "Wrestler" like, while the cena gimmick is more of a "coming of age story" tbh.
Many people had those "Super" gimmicks at times where they were just the top guy. Austin had it in the AE, Hogan had it, Taker had it. Its all about how they carry there character. None of them tried to be wannabe black rappers. The truthful honest guy stuff doesnt sell anymore this is the 21st century. See how pathetic Sheamus looks now that they have made him to be a smily willy like cena? Wouldnt u agree he was much better when he was the unstoppable guy who loved to fight?

Austin was still the superman babyface character....

Different gimmicks same principle.

I agree they need to change it up between the superman ideology but they won't as it's what sells sadly.

Yes, that was superman like but it was so good and better than what Cena does. Don't get me wrong, I like Cena but still, that's so much better.

For the most part, this is a great post. Good job JeebaK, liked.
