He sent a lot of masked men to attack the Undertaker one night on Raw and it really seemed like a terrorist thing, and unfortunately it aired on the same day of that London bombing, the network pressured WWE and Hassan was fired.

That's actually pretty fucked up. Firing Hassan just cuz of his race. WTF

Yes, it could've been handled differently, but they had to do something because if they didn't, it would look very bad for WWE. The terrorist thing was a big worry at that point, and it was just a bad coincidence. The network made WWE do something. If they didn't, they could come out as terrorist supporters or something, you know how the media is.

That's post 9/11 America for you. It was still close to 9/11 plus with it being on the same day as the London bombing the timing couldn't have been worse.
