^ It does have one of the greatest actresses maybe of all time in Julianne Moore.

I've not seen it yet, but because of JGL directing, and the trailer I got the impression there was something more to it.

Tough to come up with a solid top 10 because there is so much I need to see. For now my list looks like this:

1. Gravity
2. The Wolf of Wall Street
3. Prisoners
4. Monsters University
5. Rush
6. Mud
7. Drinking Buddies
8. Don Jon
9. Snitch
10. Man of Steel

Very difficult list. I really can't wait to see movies like 12 Years a Slave, Her, Inside Llewyn Davis, American Hustle, Out of the Furnace.

1. The Wolf of Wall Street
2. Prisoners
3. Lone Survivor
4. Her
5. Gravity
6. American Hustle
7. This Is The End
8. Captain Phillips
9. World War Z
10. Man of Steel

Honorable mentions: The Call, Pacific Rim, Snitch.

Still need to see a few movies like Dallas Buyers Club, 12 Years a Slave, Frozen, etc. I think those last two on my top 10 wouldn't be in there if I saw a couple more award season movies.

Can't really think of a bottom 10 or put much thought into it. Maybe later.

I would say that 12 Years a Slave is the most perfect film released over the last year. It will be a contender for my film of 2014 without doubt.
