I don't. Never have. Even with all the stories of politics and helping his friends. You don't try to help your friends? Politics exist in every job.

Anyway, I wanted to see how and/or why so many within the internet community save the most bitter vitriol for Hogan. I don't think there's too many on tv that hate him. In WWE during his 2002 and 2005 runs it sure looked like thousands of people were chanting his name and wearing t-shirts and holding up signs. But what do I know? I'm just a mark.

I think that he gets a lot of hate from people in the IC who were not watching in the 80's or 90's & only saw him as a broken down older man. You are right about helping your friends, it exists in most jobs & politics exist in literally every job on the planet. I think the biggest problem I have with him is that he's in horrendous physical shape, but still wants to insert himself in matches. If your hips pop out of the sockets in matches, maybe its time to never step foot in a wrestling ring again. It also takes TV time away from younger talent who can actually perform well. I loved seeing Hogan's WWE return, it was a good to see him go back home. I was there for his final match in WWE as a semi-full time wrestler. He did the Mr America gimmick, removing the mask to the Smackdown crowd & was "fired" on the next Raw. The crowd exploded when he came out & when he lifted the mask. I recently saw a few people wearing "Hulk Still Rules" shirts, apparently he still does to some people. I think its fine if he stays on camera, but please don't wrestle again. And please no more multiple Abyss promos on a single Impact episode.

I don't hate him at all. I just wish this shit with Abyss would end.

I don't hate Hogan. Sometimes I just find him awkwardly hilarious. Not too many things I literally HATE in wrestling and Hogan definitely isn't one of them. He changed TNA, that is why some hate him, but TNA was bound to change anyways so that was unstoppable.

Good point. He didn't look right in the ring against Flair. They did the right thing by having a tag match but it still didn't hide his inability to run.

That's about as fair an assessment of Hogan as you can get.

I mark for Hollywood Hogan haha. But I think people just hate on Hulk because he is hyped up to be the greatest ever and a lot of younger fans just see a slow moving guy who has used the same catchphrases for the past 25 years. Hulk is nothing special when it comes to the wrestling aspect. But he's one of the best ever at every other aspect of Pro Wrestling.

^^^It's easy for me to forget fans born after 1990. I was 7 in 1986 when I first saw the Hulkster. I'll forever be biased when it comes to his career. I was 17 when he created Hollywood Hogan, so it became cool to like Hulk again. Now as a grown man and he's still around, makes one very nostalgic. It also makes me wonder how my kids will react when they're old enough to see him.

I hate him for the fact that he just doesn't know how to walk away from wrestling and not only that, because old wrestlers hanging around is nothing new or bad for that matter, but he undeservedly keeps himself in the main event. Tell me why does he has to have himself on TV at every point in TNA? He has onscreen issues with Bischoff, The Band, Flair, AJ, Abyss, Sting.

It all just seems to be about Hogan, and it has been for his entire career. He neglected Bret Hart from a main event feud and a lot of other wrestlers from a push or a money making program with him, and now, in 2010, everytime he gets his has been ass to the ring, he has the nerve to say he doesn't want to do it nor should he, but since we're asking him to do it, he has no other choice.

^^^That's my problem with him. I will never ignore the fact that he was a great wrestler. I have never seen him wrestle in the 80s etc, but I know he's done a lot for the business.

Saying that, he just seems to have this problem of staying around and almost hogging the spotlight to this very day! I just see that as being egotistical. And to jump into the ring and "wrestle" even though he clearly can't, just for "ratings", is eve moreso egotistical.

Frankly, the reason I hope he breaks a hip and dies most weeks, is because I know this will probably be the one thing that will get this prick to leave the spotlight in wrestling, and take a back seat to a completely different wrestling business.

Hmm...maybe they'll just wheel his carcass out to the ring and electronically make his mouth move. Oh god TNA, DONT DO IT!

I dont hate him, I think what he his doing for TNA right now is a good thing. Though, I would like to see him take a step back, stay out of the ring, and just run things from the back, like he did at the beginning when he joined TNA. Oh, and this whole Abyss angle needs to stop right fucking now.
