Same reason I skipped the WHC title match. Predictability bores me

It may not have looked as big and dramatic, but that Ziggler chair bump was the most dangerous spot of the night IMO.

That or Sin Cara botching his moonsault slam on Ziggler. If Dolph were a less awesome human being he would probably have broken his neck

Yeah that was disgraceful. Just me or did King and Booker break Kayfabe when they were mentioning that he could of broke Ziggler's neck? Sounded like they were genuinely pissed off.

Just me who was pretty much at Lesnar return levels of marking ? I was going insane for the next hour.

I wasn't quite at Aries winning the belt level or Lesnar returning level of marking, but it was close. I may have been there if I was watching live though.

In saying that I've not quite got the buzz I did when Bork returned, was excited for days after that. Still though, probably went just as mental as I did for Lesnar, guess it was the fact that things looked so bleak for Ziggler not even a month ago, so delighte to see it happen. The fact it pretty much confirmed I was winning £114 probably contributed a bit lol.

I said leading up to last night that I fully expected DZ to win, but just him winning doesn't guarantee anything. 1.) I'm still somewhat worried that they will use DZ as the first guy to fail to cash in 2.) Half the guys who have cashed in MITB it did nothing for them. If he isn't built up properly before he cashes in and has a shit reign, he could fall by the WWE waste side and this MITB win won't have meant dick. Hoping for the best, but not expecting it. There is obviously a chance this goes well and he is cemented as a main eventer, but it's not a done deal.

I'm almost 100% sure Cena will be the first to fail a cash in, it so random for him to win it otherwise?

Still even if they do fuck up Ziggler's build/ reign I'm hoping he can be like Daniel Bryan - so talented and so over that it's impossible for him to be anywhere but the main event. I Ashley think that if they had Sheamus beat Ziggler in a cash in it would be beneficial for him and could give him an accidental push like Bryan.

Not sure it would work like that because for Bryan he already had a cult following of smarks from his Indie days.

Yeah I guess Ziggler doesn't have nearly as many long - term loyal fans, guess it would be easier for him to lose his overness than Bryan.

I actually hope WWE try to fuck it up, more likely to go well for him that way.

He gets some cheers at certain smarky venues, but Bryan was a cult hero for the smarks for a looong time. Ziggler has only recently started to get that type of fanbase. Yea, there are a lot of Ziggler fans now, but most of them probably don't feel nearly as attached to him as Bryan fans who watched him since he was in ROH.

Anyway, comparing his situation to Bryan's is pointless IMO. I've posted a few times about how the Bryan/WM situation was just a perfect storm of events that resulted in the best accidental push of all time.
