As a UK fan, anyone any idea what the plan is? Does he want to rival the NFL? Or is at a semi feeder, second chance league for the JUCO players, missed opportunities and foreigners who never got a chance?

He is approaching this seriously in the sense that he wants a safer more fan driven league. He is coming in as a direct competitor.

And since the NFL and Papa John's Pizza parted ways, I bet he gets a deal with them. lol

Even if it tanks, I want to see what he brings to the table.

This.

I mean even if it tanks, hopefully it brings along some innovations to the game and sport that encourage new fans and old fans to fall in love with football again.

Also if they can somehow find a way to make the game safer and cut down on the running time they could very well have some success.

I wouldn't say I'm excited but I do like the fact that we're going to have another alternative to the NFL.
