I think WWE is actually consistent that the match ends if the 24/7 rule is used which always made me think how pointless scheduled hardcore matches were lol I think the 24/7 title having the rules suspended during matches is actually a very good move

The 24/7 rule took away classic hardcore matches from 98-99 and it was just skits, we could have had both the skits and matches this way

Now the 24/7 rule matches are not special by any means though so that doesn't count so much for those matches they usually pretty basic
