The belt situation made no sense to me this year.

The WWF has seven belts as one brand for years.

They split into two brands and immediately retired two of their belts instead of split them up and five each brand one of them.

Hardcore on one brand would helped make it feel different.

WWF isn’t Book the ball, but man isn’t great he got two qualifying matches for PPV title matches two months in a row with Rock and Austin?

And then they retired the IC title late in the year and were without secondary titles for a bit

Until it came back and then the US title did too a few months later

Yeah Hardcore should have stayed on Raw and Euro should have went to SD

I'm glad they brought back the US title in hindsight but I'm surprised they didn't just bump up the Euro or Hardcore in prestige and have it be on the second brand, they were pretty worthless though
