I still enjoyed it but yeah it was disappointing, I think the HHH mania match was better for sure

And the Trips match was extremely disappointing after the really good buildup

When we were watching X8 not too long I was saying I think their match is pretty underrated. I didn’t see what’s supposed to be wrong with it.

I think they only think that hurts it is being after Hogan/Rock, but the match itself is perfectly acceptable.

Perception from card placement is like the only real criticism I can name for it, like it was a good match. Just not super memorable by any means like you'd want a mania main event to be

I think by this point they were moving away from brawling mania main events. The year before they would have 100%.

It’s more memorable to me than most Manias after 20 for me and honestly it’s just the card placement.

Hogan and Rock was always gonna be the show stealer.
