My logic in big matches was the ref knew they weren't going to get back in the ring by the 10 count but he couldn't let the match end like that so it's better to try and herd the wrestlers back into the ring like a sheepdog

I think that's kinda what JR was getting at at here. Instead of letting it end that way the ref followed them on their brawl. TBH if I promoted, I'd make all world title matches relaxed counts. So it's canon the referee isn't gonna count unless a man is dead on the floor and the other guy is on the ring. Referee discretion.

Hmmm, I think the problem here is it's actually not overbooked enough

Austin can't do the technical rasslin' like he used to and Jericho ain't quite the brawler he becomes later so they're just doing pretty good versions of each that don't stand out....need more table spots and run ins to solve it

IDK Austin and Angle still tear the house down. Jericho should be able to make it work.

Angle can have good matches with anyone, but I'd say the matches he has with Austin are GOATs.
