Because this thread is focusing on singles wrestlers and their impacts. The road warriors were an impactful tag team who had a large influence on tag wrestling. Neither Animal or Hawk had any considerable impact as singles stars.

Get all bossy and shit? It's a formatted series of polls with a couple of simple things voters have to do. One of those is to nominate a single athlete for the next poll. By nominating a tag team he had not fulfilled his requirements to get his vote counted.

It is nothing to do with being bossy, it is simple structure needed to make this voting process worthwhile.
