I'm thinking about finally starting my idea of a WWEForums Newsletter.
It would be covering all the latest WWE news in the past week, as well as forum news.

I've been the author of a newsletter on a previous forum and it was very successful and enjoyed by many, and this would be a quick way to keep up to date with all the latest goings-on in WWE and on the forums.

But first, I'd like to get some opinions as to whether or not I should do it.

Thanks.

Isn't this the point of a forum lol, so we have the news posted?

You have newspapers, TV news, internet news, radio news.

???

Yeah but they all appeal to people in different ways of their lifestyle. Forums and newsletters are both online.

Yeah but why do we need a newsletter, all WWE news is posted in the sections and all forum news is done in the announcements section. Most people who will subscribe to this visit the forum daily so will be dealing with the same news. You're free to do it for me but I don't really see the purpose lol.

I like the idea of forum news or something similar but I don't see the need for WWE news, as every bit of news has already been posted (and then discussed). I'm afraid of being one of those HF copies though if we introduced forum news.

Everyones shooting this down...

BUT...

I kind of think it could come in handy if it was done right, i.e Top 10 WWE news of the week, Top 10 TNA News of the week, User polls etc etc

You could do it like a news alert thing like WWE has.

__________

Highlight certain threads, etc.

We'll have no forum news. It's not like HF where lots of stuffs happen everyday.
