Santino’s Casa with Tommy Dreamer:
The ECW credits roll and the pyro comes on with a bang, the show begins with the televised premiere of Santino’s Casa. Santino is waiting in the ring for his first guest ECW legend Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer comes out with an unfazed expression on his face, Santino welcomes Tommy by saying how much of an honor it is for his first ever guest on his show to be a dried up has been who is only with the company to collect his pension plan. Tommy smiles and answers Santino by calling him nothing but a jumped up spray tanned bigmouth and goes on to say Santino doesn’t deserve to be a part of ECW as the brand is about innovative wrestling and not running off your mouth. Santino says Dreamer is only jealous because he wasn’t picked to be a part of the title qualifying tournament and he should just go backstage and cut off his disgusting beard. Tommy just nods his head and tells Santino if he’s a real man he should get a piece of him right now, Santino pauses for a second, when Tommy turns his back Santino nails Dreamer to the ground with the microphone and carries on assaulting Dreamer by stomping on him until Ken Kennedy comes out and sprints to the ring coming to Tommy’s aid scarring off the arrogant Italian into the crowd. Kennedy helps up Tommy before grabbing the microphone, Ken says Santino has no hope in hell of beating him tonight and there’s only one man who’s going to win the ECW title next week and that’s “Mrrrrrrr Kenneeeeeedy…..Kenneeeeeedy! Dreamer is followed by Kennedy as they exit the ring. We go to the first commercial break.

Match 1: Evan Bourne VS Shelton Benjamin (ECW Title qualifier 1)We return after the commercial break which sees our first match of the night. Shelton comes to the ring to a shower of boos while Evan Bourne is met by a nice little pop from the crowd.
Ending:
The match has been mostly dominated by Shelton however newcomer Bourne has put up a brave fight. The end came when a roundhouse kick from Bourne was countered from the Gold standard. Shelton Irish whipped Bourne to the ring ropes and took him down with a T-Bone Suplex, Shelton goes for the cover with the referee making an easy three count with the Golden standard to become the first superstar to be in next weeks title match.

Backstage Lena is joined backstage by Mark Henry and Armando Estrada. Lena asks Henry what Estrada’s doing with him, before Henry can get a word in Armando jumps in and says he’s Mark's new manager. He tells Lena the reason behind him offering his managing services to Henry is because he knows when he can spot raw talent, Mark agrees and says Armando is a great influence on him. Armando weighs up Lena and spots the short dress she’s wearing and says with clothes like that she should be waitressing at hooters or better still a strip joint. A ticked off Lena goes to slap a smiling Armando before Henry grabs her wrist and throws her to the ground. Matt Hardy emerges. He tends to a shaken Lena and tells Henry he should pick on a man and not a woman, a raging Henry knocks the kneeling Hardy down with big boot. Henry and a smiling Armando leave the carnage they have just wrecked as we go to a commercial break.

Match 2: William Regal VS Finlay with Hornswoggle (ECW Title qualifier 2)We return from the commercial break as Regal comes out to a pretty hostile reaction from the crowd, Finlay and Hornswoggle get a warm welcome as they come out.
Ending: The match between two of Britain’s most well known wrestlers was a back of fourth slugfest from the get go. The ending came when Regal had Finlay tightly locked into the Regal stretch as it looked like Finlay was going to tap his scheming son Hornswoggle crawled onto the ring apron which caused distraction to the referee as he's forced to turn his focus on Horny. A frustrated Regal breaks the hold rising to his feet wondering what Hornswoggle’s doing however Finlay takes total advantage of the situation by low blowing Regal and gets up before nailing his British counterpart with the Finlay roll. Finlay goes for the pin and Hornswoggle jumps off the apron to allow his father to get the pin. The referee goes down and hits the three count giving the crafty Irish bastard the win and also the second spot in the title match next week.

We go to GM Long’s office where Teddy’s joking with his assistant Tiffany, New ECW superstar Charlie Haas comes charging in the office with a pissed look on his face and yells “well!†at T-Lo. Long asks Haas who the hell he thinks he is just storming into his office like that, Haas says he’s pretty angry because even on ECW he’s being overlooked. Teddy tells Haas he wasn’t overlooking him and he was just saving him for next week, Haas says he doesn’t buy any of it and goes on to say he’s main event material. Before Teddy can go on he gets a knock on his office door, he tells the mystery person to come in however they respond so Haas opens the door. Haas gets the fright of his life as the boogeyman slowly walks towards him with his nasty worms dangling out of his mouth also with a clock in his hand, everybody looks freaked out. Boogeyman serenades them all with a toe curling rendition of high school musicals “breaking free†before smashing the clock on his head followed by a sick cackle. A stunned Long tells Haas he doesn’t have to find him an opponent next week after all and Haas is looking right at him, Boogeyman frightens Haas out of the office before winking at a creeped out Tiffany. We go to a well needed commercial break after the freak show.

Match 3: Matt Hardy VS Mark Henry with Armando Estrada (ECW Title qualifier 3)Henry and Estrada came out to heavy booing from the crowd while Matt got a standing ovation.
Ending: The match was surprisingly been even as Mark’s powerful moves have been countered many times by Hardy’s unorthodox moves and vice versa. The ending came after Hardy wore out Henry with various punches to his heavy set mid section. Hardy went for the twist of fate however Henry countered it with a big elbow to the chops of Matt before locking him in the bearhug followed by the words strongest slam. In the pin position the referee begins his count and taps the mat three times to make Henry the victor and the second to last challenger in next weeks title match.

We go backstage where Lena is backstage with Ken Kennedy who will be competing in tonight’s main event. Lena asks Kennedy how he’s feeling coming into his match with Santino, Kennedy answers her by telling her the only way he knows best “Mrrrrrrr Kennedy….Kenneeeeeedy! Ken tells Lena he’s looking forward to kicking Santino’s cry baby ass tonight and most of all getting his easy ticket to next weeks title match. Santino comes behind Ken and then he turns round Kennedy is met with a screeching Mr. Mareeeela Mareeeellaaaa . Kennedy turns round and chases away Santino, Ron Simmons comes out of absolutely nowhere and catches the eye of Lena and yells Daaaaaaaaamn! Before starring at her chest and shouting WHAM, BAM, MAM! We go the last commercial break of the show.

Main Event: Ken Kennedy VS Santino (ECW Title qualifier 4)
Santino enters to a chime of loud boos from the fans as he yells at them, Mr. Kennedy comes out to a heroes welcome with a mic and without an introduction from his old enemy Tony Chimel which allows him to announce himself. From Green bay Wisconsin at six foot two coming in at 240 pounds Mrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedy…Kennnnneeeedy.
Ending: Both men beat each other black and blue resulting in Kennedy receiving a black eye and Santino being busted open. Towards the end Kennedy nails Santino with a spike DDT and goes for the pinfall soon after. However Santino kicks out just before the third count which upsets Kennedy, As Kennedy begins arguing with the official Santino goes for the schoolboy pin however it only gains him the two count. Kennedy gets back to his feet but he’s met by a running super kick by Marella, Santino picks Kennedy up and goes for cutter but Kennedy counters it and knees Marella in the midsection. Kennedy hits the Green Bay plunge on Santino and goes for the pinfall, the referee begins his count one…two…three. Kennedy wins the match and the last spot in next week’s title match which sends the fans into frenzy as a tearful Marella exits to the back moments after. Kennedy celebrates his victory however all the three title contenders for next week come out including Finlay, Henry and the gold standard and begin beating each other down. After Henry destroyed both Finlay and Shelton it leaves just Kennedy and Henry starring each other down with each man pointing at there waists both signaling they both want the gold. ECW goes off the air with the fans hot for next week’s main event.

BM - Kennedys........ kennedys...... vs. Santino was more detailed then the rest. Great that Kennedy won now he can become ECW Champion.

WM - No offense, but i have to go with Gold Standard vs. Evan Bourne. It wasn't as detailed and it would've been better if Evan could get a few more moves on Shelton in that match.

BP - Boogey's/ Haas/ Teddy/ Tiffany. Extremely funny, and it made a match for next week. Santino's Casa comes at a close second which should start a feud between Dreamer and Santino.

WP - None Hardy/ Yada/ Estrada/ and Henry was a good promo, so no Worst Promo.

AC - Pretty Solid show. You might have a good future.

Rate - 7/10

Cheap Plug - TNA iMPACT should be posted soon in my TNA Btb. Go check it out once it's posted.

I don't normally do a traditional review for recaps, but this is a good show. I think you made some interesting decisions and look forward to seeing how things (especially Kennedy) playout.

I never thought i would see the terms "High School Musical" and "Breaking Free" on Impact...so wow. That was a funny moment though.

Check out XCW: Full Throttle by clicking on the link in my sig. Feel free to leave a review or tell me what you think.

The Smackdown opening credits roll followed by the pyro. Here comes the money blasts through the titan tron as Shane O Mac comes to the ring with a mic in his hand. Shane says tonight is the dawn of a new era for Smackdown and the departure of Vickie was blessing in disguise as it lets Smackdown go in a whole new direction. Shane says the reason why he’s here tonight is to appoint a new Smackdown general manager. He teases the fans by giving a few clues by saying he is a retired wrestler who never had any limits and he calls him the Jekyll and Hyde of the wrestling business. He goes on to say the new GM is only feet away and turns to the announce table to yell Mick Foley! A smiling Mick comes to the ring from the announce table leaving Michael Cole extremely shocked, Mick is given a mic and says when Shane offered him the position it was an offer he couldn’t refuse. He says Smackdown has been ruled by unjust decisions under Vickie’s reign but now he’s in charge there are no favorites. The fans go wild and start a huge Foley chant which overwhelms the hardcore legend, however before Mick can go on any further with his new direction speech he’s interrupted by JBL. As the unative New Yorker comes out in his limo. JBL gets in Shane’s face demanding an explanation to why he chose Foley over him to be the new general manager. Shane tells John the reason why he didn’t pick him is because he just didn’t have the right ingredients to make the decisions on the brand. John changes the subject and suddenly demands a title shot by saying he’s the only person who is a wrestling god on the brand and says he forgives Shane but he can make up for it by giving him a title shot tonight. Mick Foley asks John if he does give him a title match tonight will he go to extreme lengths like he did in his career, JBL says he will so Mick tells JBL he’s got his world title shot tonight in a cage match against John Cena! Cena comes to the ramp with a big grin on his face and points to his waist while JBL talks trash to Cena. We go to the first commercial break.

We come back from the commercial break and we go straight to a recap of what we have just missed during the commercial break. We see Shane bringing out Mick Foley’s announcing replacement non other than veteran wrestler Val Venis, Val goes straight to the announce table and shakes Michael Cole’s hand.

Match 1: Super Crazy and Michelle McCool VS Gregory Helms and Victoria
Crazy and Michelle come out to a good pop from the crowd while Gregory Helms gets a few cheers from the crowd due to his return to wrestling however the crowd makes no exceptions Victoria as she’s given a great deal of heat.

Ending: The match was a high flying match throughout and the ladies were really tearing each other apart with various maneuvers. Kelly also came out to cheer Michelle on ringside. Towards the end of the match Helms begins working on the midsection of Super Crazy in the ring corner, he takes a few steps back and attempts a running elbow however Crazy moves out of the way just in of time. Crazy grabs the tights of Helms for the schoolboy pin but Helms manages to kick out just before three, Crazy goes to his corner tagging in Michelle. As Michelle runs towards Helms he catches her off guard with a clothesline straight after he tags in Victoria. Victoria attempts to super kick Michelle but she ducks and Michelle counters it into the wings of love and goes for the cover. The referee starts to count however an unsuspecting Kelly comes to the ring and nails Michelle with a K-2 which leads the referee to call for the bell. Kelly and Victoria hug and celebrate in the ring while Helms storms out to the back with a disappointed expression on his face. Crazy tends to a hurt Michelle while Kelly and Victoria leave.

“The Rude boys” Buster Vissel and Rodney are coming to SmackDown:A video package airs in a street on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica. Big Daddy V is joined by Domino. He introduces himself as Buster Vissel and introduces Domino as Rodney. Buster is dressed in a white shirt with red braces, pinstripe pants, and domino pattern shoes he is also wearing a pork pie hat. While Rodney is wearing a black three piece suit, a porkpie hat and glasses. Buster says this is where it all began the art of the rude boy lifestyle. Buster says he has embraced in the lifestyle for a number of years and so has Rodney but says its now its time they bring their lifestyle to SmackDown. He says if anybody gets in their way upon their arrival they will have no choice but to buster move on them. The VP ends when a man has just broken into a car so the rude boys beat him up and they get into the stolen car themselves. Rodney and Buster say bad things happen to bad people and they drive off in the stolen car.

Carlito comes to the ring to much heat from the crowd. He’s given a mic, he says Carlito being drafted Smackdown is cool and continues to say he can beat anybody in the back because Carlito is the king of cool. He says Foley being the SmackDown GM however is humid and demands Mick to come out. Mick comes to the ramp with the United States title, but before Carlito talks any more trash Foley tells Carlito to shut up and listen to him. Foley said he’s got an ultimatum for Carlito, if Carlito beats Mick’s mystery opponent he gets the United States Championship. However if Carlito loses to the mystery opponent he will be crowned the new United states champion Mick goes onto say best of all if Carlito loses he will have to pucker up to Mr socko who he’s been wearing for three straight days. Carlito agrees demanding Mick to send his anonymous opponent down right now, Mick introduces Carlito’s opponent as a Washington native who actually isn’t a WWE superstar. Mick brings out a man who most wrestling fans know however Carlito doesn’t, Foley yells “here’s who you have beat Carlito Bryan Danielson!” Carlito is laughing in the ring as Danielson runs down the ring.

Match 2 United States title match: Carlito VS Bryan Danielson

Ending: The match was amazingly dominated by the debuting hometown hero Bryan Danielson. Towards the end of the match, Carlito attempts a face buster on Danielson but Bryan counters it and takes Carlito down with a German suplex. Danielson climbs to the top turnbuckle and goes for the diving headbutt however Carlito moves out of the way just in time. Carlito gets up scouting Danielson as he begins to get back to his feet, Carlito goes for the backstabber but Danielson reverses by Irish whipping Carlito to the ropes taking him down with a big boot. Danielson locks in the cattle mutilation on Carlito and he taps out immediately giving Danielson the win making him the new United States champion in his first impressive match. Danielson celebrates in the ring much to the delight of the fans. Mick Foley comes to the ring as Danielson grabs hold of Carlito. Foley gets Mr socko out of his jacket pocket and shoves his smelly companion into Carlito’s mouth making him gag. We go to a commercial break.

We go to the back where Eve Torres is joined by Kelly and Victoria. Eve asks Kelly why she attacked Michelle earlier tonight, Kelly tells Eve it’s because she’s sick of being everybody’s friend and because Michelle has something she wants, the diva title. Kelly goes onto say she is going to make Michelle’s life as champion a living hell on SmackDown until she finally gets what she wants off her. Victoria says there’s nowhere to hide for Michelle and she’s going to help Kelly by all means necessary as a favor to her. Suddenly Victoria accuses Eve of muttering something under her breath which Eve strongly denies. Kelly and Victoria beat her down anyway. Michelle emerges to Eve’s aid and chases the tandem off as she tends to a shaken Eve.

Match 3 Smackdown tag titles match: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder © VS Cryme TymeHawkins & Ryder come out to a shower of boos while Cryme Tyme receives a massive pop from the crowd.

Ending: The match was back and fourth from the word go. Towards the climax JTG has Hawkins locked into a side headlock, Hawkins counters the move and nails JTG with a spine buster. Hawkins goes to Ryder and tags him in. Hawkins picks up JTG while Ryder is stood behind him. Hawkins nails a running lariat on JTG as Ryder finishes it off with a running chop block. Shad comes to his partner’s aid by chasing off Hawkins to his corner. Ryder goes for the pinfall on JTG however Shad breaks it up just before three. Ryder lifts JTG up but is took by surprise as JTG lands a sucker punch to his face, JTG takes advantage by sprinting to his corner to tag in Shad. Shad comes charging in the ring by taking Ryder down with a clothesline and lands a big boot on Hawkins sending him flying off the ring apron to the outside. Shad picks up Ryder and JTG adds the finishing touches to nail a flip neck breaker for the G9. Shad goes for the pinfall and the referee does a quick three count, the referee gives the new tag champions there straps. Cryme Tyme celebrates in the ring as the fans give them a massive pop. We go to a commercial break.

Highlight reel with CM Punk:
We come back from the break for the first ever SmackDown edition of Chris Jericho’s highlight reel following his draft from Raw, he’s joined by a fellow draftee “Mr money in the bank” CM Punk. Jericho is sat on a chair, moments later Punk comes out with his MITB case and is introduced by Jericho as the most extreme jackass of the century. A giant present like box is also in the ring. Jericho thanks punk for running the reputation of his dear old show, Punk smiles and says the only highlight associated to Jericho are the ones in his hair. Jericho says he’ll get to the point, the reason he invited him on the show in the first place is to ask him how it feels being Mr Money in the bank. Punk says it’s great knowing how jealous Jericho is of his guaranteed world title shot. Jericho says jealous he’s not but disgusted he is, he tells CM Punk the punk era died out years ago and it’s all about the rock and roll. CM Punk just nods his head and sarcastically agrees, Punk asks Jericho what’s inside the giant box? Jericho tells Punk to open it which he does, as he unwraps the present it’s non other than Mae Young! Mae leaps out of the box onto Punk’s body while Jericho laughs. As Punk’s trying to fend of the randy old hussy, Jericho grabs Punk’s MITB case and attempts to run off with it. Mick Foley comes out and tells him to return the title which he does. Foley tells Chris if he wants CM Punk’s MITB shot so much that next week he’s got a match against Punk. Foley says if Jericho wins he’ll face Punk in a ladder match for the MITB case at the great American bash but if Jericho loses he won’t have a title opportunity again under his reign as general manager. Jericho looks pleased but uncertain at the same time, Foley tells Chris to look behind him. As Chris turns round he’s met by a cringe worthy kiss from Mae Young, as Chris tries to get Mae off him Punk pushes her out of the way and nails Jericho with the GTS.

Match 4: The Undertaker & Kane VS Big Show & Umaga
Big Show and Umaga come out to a huge amount of heat from the fans. The Brothers of destruction come out to a flurry of cheers from the fans.

Ending: The match was extremely intense with all four superstar’s giving their all. Towards the end of the match Kane Irish whips Umaga to the ring ropes leveling him out with a sidewalk slam. Kane begins stomping on the midsection of Umaga until the referee breaks it up. Kane picks Umaga up and knocks him onto the ropes with a throat thrust. Kane knocks Umaga over the top rope with a big boot as the Undertaker wraps his legs round the head of Umaga locking in the triangle choke until Taker throws him back in the ring. The Big Show comes running towards Kane but the big red monster grabs Big Show by the neck for the choke slam. Big Show however counters it by slapping a forehand chop on Kane’s midsection and locks in the bearhug. The Undertaker comes from the ring apron nailing Show with a big boot breaking up the bearhug. Undertaker grabs the wrist of Show and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He begins to walk on the top rope jumping down to knock Show down with the old school. Undertaker picks up Show and clothesline’s himself and Big Show over the top rope. Back in the ring Kane and Umaga get back to their feet and begin trading blows. Umaga gets the upper hand and lifts up Kane into the Samoan drop position. However Kane counters it by pounding the face of Umaga before escaping the drop. Kane thrusts his knee against Umaga’s midsection before grabbing the body of Umaga and executing the tombstone pile driver. Kane falls on top of Umaga for the pinfall, the referee counts to three giving the brothers of destruction the win. The Undertaker joins his brother who’s sadistically grinning in the ring as the arena fades to black and rolls his eyes back starring at Big Show and Umaga who are on their way to the back. We go to a commercial break.

We go backstage where Eve Torres is joined by John Cena just minutes before his world title cage match against JBL. Eve asks Cena how he feels going into his match against JBL for the world title. Cena responds by saying cannot wait to kick JBL’s ass for the fans and he will do everything he can to stop JBL destroying the credibility of the belt. Eve asks John how he feels being back on Smackdown after being away for three years, Cena tells her it’s the best feeling in the world. He says its where he begun his career and he’d be more than happy to finish it being a SmackDown superstar. A comment which gains a huge pop from the fans, Cena compliments Eve on how good she looks tonight which makes her blush, she gives him a hug. He makes suggestive facial expressions while they embrace. Eve thanks Cena, as he walks off looking extremely pleased with himself.

Main event World Heavyweight title Escape only Cage Match: JBL VS John Cena
JBL comes to the ring in his limo to major heat from the crowd. Cena comes out to the biggest pop of the night and loud “the champ is here” chants. The steel slowly comes down over the ring as the referee explains the rules of the match to both superstars.

Ending: The match was an all out brawl with Cena and JBL both being busted open early on by slamming the other superstar’s face on the steel cage. Midway into the match JBL attempts a short arm clothesline on Cena but John counters. Cena quickly bounces off the ropes as leverage and nails JBL with a one handed bulldog. Cena waves his “you can’t see me” sign in JBL’s face before bouncing off the ropes to hit the five knuckle shuffle. With JBL on the mat Cena attempts to climb to cage however just after he made it halfway up the cage JBL yanks Cena’s legs between his head to hit the electric chair drop knocking Cena off the cage. JBL lands an elbow drop on the midsection of Cena. JBL lifts Cena to his feet to follow on with a fallaway slam. JBL climbs the cage and slowly moves higher up the cage. Cena rises to his feet and gets a brass knuckle out of his short pocket and nails JBL with it which sends JBL tumbling off the cage. Cena picks up JBL and nails JBL in the midsection, lifting him up to hit the FU. Cena climbs the cage and quickly makes his way to the top. Cena begins to climb over the top edge of the cage however out of nowhere Elijah Burke nails Cena with a crowbar sending Cena crashing down to the ring mat. Burke comes to the cage door attempting to yank the chain off with the crowbar and eventually manages to rip it off leaving the cage door wide open. JBL crawls towards the door but Cena grabs his foot stopping JBL from escaping. Cena gets to his feet and kicks JBL in the midsection rolling his body away from the door. Cena goes to escape out of the cage door but Burke slams the cage door wide shut in his face. JBL kneels on the ring canvas waiting for Cena to turn round. Cena slowly turns his direction back on Layfield and JBL takes Cena’s head off with a clothesline from hell. JBL crawls to the cage door with Elijah Burke grabbing John’s body and eventually throwing JBL to the outside of the cage with his feet hitting the outside. JBL has now won the match to become the new world heavyweight champion. The referee hands JBL his newly won title as Elijah burke helps “the wrestling god” to his feet and both men walk to the back the back.

GM Mick Foley comes to the ramp way and congratulates JBL on his title win, Foley says when he’s the sheriff in town dirty tactics do not get you anywhere. Foley says he enjoys seeing people suffer the same way he had to in his career. Foley goes onto say that’s why he has booked a world title rematch between JBL and Cena at the great American bash in a hell in the cell match. JBL and Elijah Burke are absolutely furious with Foley and they can’t believe what they’re hearing. Foley says JBL’s pain training will begin next week on SmackDown as JBL and Elijah Burke will take on the team of John Cena and non other than Mick Foley next week in a hardcore tag match! JBL and Elijah look totally astonished, while Cena smiles at Foley from inside the cage. Foley rips open his lumberjack jacket to reveal his cactus Jack shirt and does his bang, bang signs. Smackdown goes off the air leaving the fans glued for next weeks show.
