Reportedly, some people on WWE's creative team have no idea where the Drew McIntyre firing angle is headed, let alone why it was done in the first place. It was originally speculated that he failed a drug test, but that's largely because nobody could figure out any other good reason for his kayfabe removal. If nothing else, his removal was clearly apart of an angle considering he worked the company's tour of Mexico last week.

It's been speculated that the angle could lead to Vince McMahon returning as an on-screen character to reinstate his "Chosen One" and perhaps fire Theodore Long. As recently as a few days ago, there was in fact talk of bringing "Mr. McMahon" back to television.

Further indicating that his removal from WWE is all an angle, Matt Hardy wrote the following on his Twitter account after last Tuesday's SmackDown taping: "As a favor to me, if ur a fan of mine-Let Drew McIntyre hear 'We want Matt' over & over again. This thing with him & I is just beginning. RT."

It has been confirmed that McIntyre and Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) tied the knot a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. The feeling is that creative weren't going to split them up immediately, meaning he's likely not going to RAW.

I figured they were just moving him to Raw but didn't think about him and Tiffany being together. I don't much for McIntyre but I would think he'd be smart enough not to fail a drug test with all the support he's getting from McMahon. Then again the same was said about Lance Cade.

Fucked up angles are fucked up.

Kayfabe firings are always horrible. Suspensions make much more sense.

You want to know what to do with him? Fire him. Send him to jobber status asap. He gets these angles, these hypes, and people still don't give a shit about him. Why? Because he sucks.

My prediction all along was that Vince would come back to reverse Theodore Long's decision. As for Long getting fired, I seriously hope they don't do that because there's nobody to replace him. Vickie is busy on RAW (I'm sure she'll be back next week) so there's really nobody else to GM Smackdown! other than Long

^^^Likewise, that appeared blatantly obvious to me from the start.

LOL.... Teddy's probation is the longest running storyline in WWE history!

As for there being no-one to GM SD.... 'Course there is - Abe Washington immediately springs to mind, but they could have anything up their sleeve... JBL, a fresh face... Who knows.

Perfect! Why? Because the above statement is true. I don't know why they keep putting this guy on tv. He does nothing...NOTHING! He gets a limited reaction when he makes his entrance and that's mostly out of boredom.

McIntyre. I dont really care about this guy but somehow I like him. He's music is awesome. Fire This Guy or something. Let Dolph Ziggler have his push. He is much more deserving of it.

OMG!!!! If JBL becomes SD GM I will fucking freak, that will be amazing. SD will without a doubt be #1 in my eyes. Can you imagine JBL forming like a bond with Swagger, both Americans, imagine JBL hyping up his credentials and shit like he always does, could be great.

How could WWE Creative make something happen on TV without knowing what will follow? Isn't it their job to do relatively long term plans for WWE television?

Maybe something good can come out of spur of the moment booking, but I doubt it. Not like McIntyre's career will suffer though, he is WWE's next golden boy.

^^^It's currently in vogue to hate on McEntyre (Seemingly because he's been booked as a pussy, that appears to be reluctant to get busy in the ring)....

It'll pass.

If he'd have puilled the shit on Cena that he has on Matt, IWC would prob be all over his dick again by now (like they were when he debuted.... "OMG, look at the awesome DDT" etc.).
