» Several top WWE superstars were not happy about Jim Ross being left off the WrestleMania 26 announcing team. Ross even wrote in his blog that Vince McMahon didn't make any time for him during WrestleMania weekend, which is unfortunate considering how influential Ross has been over the years. You can clearly see that Jim is not all that thrilled with WWE
right now through his blogs. He likely wouldn't admit this but it seems pretty clear to us. He's also a guy that has always been very professional but you can tell he's frustrated and not ready to 'retire' from the booth. It seems like they're forcing it on him. We'll see what happens.

» Matt Striker's zany commentary at WrestleMania was a topic of discussion in the days following the event.

I wonder if he would go to TNA just to spite Vince...

I really like JR but to be honest I'm not sure I want him back. They have new commentators now that's been around for enough time that fans are use to them now. If he did some back he should take Cole's spot of Raw and leave him on NXT. I use to like Cole, but he's gotten more and more annoying the past couple of years.

I really like Striker, Mathews, and Grisham they actually sound like they know about wrestling. I like Lawler and JR but they're Vince's type of commentators who more or less tell stories than actually call the match.

JR should have without a doubt called that match. Look at the careers of both HBK and the Undertaker. All they're matches were called by JR and he made them that much more special. For HBK's final match not to be called by JR is a shame.

When it comes to Jim Ross, I don't think taking over for guys who have been in the chair for less than a year will be a problem. People are most use to JR calling matches than a guy like Striker, with his 'smart wrestling talk' that I personally find annoying and ridiculous.

Yeah it's shit JR was not at WM. And i read that Michaels and Taker wanted JR to call there match at Mania. Well if he does indeed go to TNA that is WWE's loss and TNA's gain. Because in honesty it was a travesty not having JR behind a desk at Mania

Striker/Cole could be a decent team if Cole continues this extreme WWE markism shit, with Striker obviously having all the indy wrestling knowledge that he does. Could be some funny counterparts.

And yeah, that was the first Mania JR hasn't called in 15+ years. =/

I thought JR calling HBK's final match would have been a nice touch and added even more to the match. Wouldn't have even mattered who he was paired with TBH.

I'm not a huge fan of Jim Ross, but he has been treated pretty poorly. He's just one of those big name guys, it feels different without him. Wrestlemania didn't feel the same without Jim Ross.

I actually heard somewhere, I think it was an interview or blog or some shit like that, that he wanted to call HBK and The Undertaker's last matches. It's a shame that he didn't get that chance, if he would have called it, the match would have had even more of a emotional, nostalgic feel then it did. Especially the post match celebration/farewell of The Undertaker and HBK respectively. He should have at the very least been on Raw the night after Wrestlemania for HBK's farewell address tbh.

Honestly I cannot ever see JR going to TNA. No matter how he is treated I think he will still remain loyal to Vince and the WWE. But, if he did go to TNA I would not be opposed to it, anything to get Tenay off my fucking TV!

Jez we're like Sharks who sense small blood in the water. Just because he isn't too happy with WWE doesn't mean he's going to TNA.

It's bullshit he didn't call HBK's final match. It would have made it even more special.

WWE & Vince in particular have a history of treating JR like shit. WWE has fired him numerous times over the years. I think he was actually fired during his first bout with Bell's Palsy. Remember Vince mocking JR's colon surgery? VKM is a real classy guy.

Won't make a difference. TNA will still suck.
