What, a year later? The fact is she still proved she was in her shadow during the time she achieved her success in NXT and that was Charlotte's whole point. She claimed she made NXT what it was and invalidated Rhea's success. For the record, I already said earlier I'll forgive this loss though if Rhea wins the belt back within this year and then beats Charlotte a second time defending the belt at Mania. I'll never agree that Charlotte should have won the first one, but I'll be content with it.Ricky Spanish said:If Rhea comes back to beat Charlotte, that would be her moving out ot Charlotte's shadow.
I'll take what we got because with the fans they would have spent as much backstage and on that cool ass truck and shit.Ricky Spanish said:Nah it was good, it just would have been nice to have some fans in the arena
I mean yeah. I don't see the problem. Charlotte wins this round, so Rhea realizes that she wasn't as good as she needed to be. You tell a story of her doubting herself for a while before coming back better than before and redeeming herself. Is it not better to have the face being the one on the chase? To me, Rhea winning this one only really boosts her in the short term.Tearjerker said:What, a year later? Nah, Rhea gets a huge rub proving she was her own woman and Charlotte couldn't just walk back into to NXT and take it. As for your question, it is better for the babyface to be chasing...but that's when the heel starts as the champion. You already ruin your baby's shine when the heel wins clean. Charlotte should have done something dirty to win and it would have worked to build heat. Let's say I fully agree, though, I don't see Charlotte returning the rub at Mania. I just don't see it, She didn't do it for Asuka, why is she doing it for Rhea?Ricky Spanish said:I mean yeah. I don't see the problem. Because not everything that happens once is bound to be the same every single time. I wouldn't really bet on her losing to Ripley at Mania, mainly because Mania rematches are so rare, but I am hopeful that Ripley will eventually beat her.Tearjerker said:Nah, Rhea gets a huge rub proving she was her own woman and Charlotte couldn't just walk back into to NXT and take it. I know Ripley is gonna beat her again, but it's not the same as getting that Mania moment. That's what Rhea deserved. So that's what I think should happen if there's interest in doing something with this loss. If all she does is win it back at a TakeOver, that's not any different than Rhea winning any match at TakeOver, which she's done plenty. Just my take.Ricky Spanish said:Because not everything that happens once is bound to be the same every single time.
