WWE wants Sting

- The Sun has posted an article claiming that WWE is plotting to swoop the multi-time World Champion from TNA Wrestling. They say with WrestleMania taking place in WCW's former home of Atlanta this year,

Vince wants Sting to be a part of the show and inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Though still listed on the TNA Wrestling website, Sting is presently a free agent after his contract with the organization expired late last year.

If they really want a WCW themed type deal for mania then Sting is very much needed. Whether it will actually happen or not we will see but Sting in WWE would be nice to see.

Sting in WWE would be a great site. Him headlining a WCW themed HOF with Nash, DDP, Booker T, Goldberg, the Steiners, and even Hall if you can sober him up long enough :

I wouldn't be opposed to them inducting those guys and then just letting them have an over the top battle royale at Mania.

I doubt Sting would come in just to do a battle royale. And I don't care for a quick buildup to a high-profile match for him, because there are plenty of guys in the WWE now who could use those spots. I'd like to see Sting get inducted into the HOF, and maybe a quick segment during WM with whatever WCW vets they can get saying something to the fans.

i can't ever see sting doing anything WWE related but we will see. people would tune in just for that alone, my uncle being one of them and he hasn't watched wrestling in a long time.

I know WWE has no problem pissing on WCW but that would be pretty disrespectful to do that if the show was supposed to be more a tribute to WCW.

I for one hope this happen. Sting being inducted in the Hall of Fame would be just enough to cap off a potential WCW-Theme to Mania Weekend. Too bad there won't be a dream match between him and Shawn Michaels though.

No way Goldberg would be inducted in the HOF. Nash, DDP, Sting, Arn Anderson, Ron Simmons, and MAYBE Steiners would be a nice class.

Booker is a no go as is Hall for obvious reasons.
