You probably won't believe what's the latest trademark WWE is trying to register.. Kayfabe.
It's for merchandise use, so it's to do with those recent t-shirts they put out.

Kayfabe used to be a word wrestlers would use to associate IC (in character) and OOC (out of character). As the years have gone on, the IWC have constantly accused kayfabe of being dead. With this recently "reality era" and now this trademarking, it's not so secret any more.

Yeah, I know what Kayfabe is, but I thought that was just a word used in the IWC only, I didn't know it was an actual term that WWE used. Now they are using the "Kayfabe" statements on Merchandise? WWE is just running itself into the ground. In about 10-15 years, it will most likely be dead, but this forum will still be alive and kickin' with 2mill+ members. :p

I hate this. Breaking kayfabe (the irony) is fine, like calling Triple H Paul, but I don't like jobber, heel, kayfabe, babyface.. I just don't know why.

Those are just the definitive words used to describe rolls that superstars play pretty much.. Those terms will never disapear.

WWE won't die for another 100 years.

It lives on and so does the McMahon family along with HHH.
