The 2011 WWE Tribute to the Troops special will air on Saturday 12/17 on NBC at 9 PM. The special will be 60 minutes long.

WWE will be taping the Tribute To The Troops Special on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

This is one of the great things that WWE does each year. Whatever people think of Vince you can't say that he doesn't care about the troops. Normally a fun show to watch so I will be interested to see what they book for the show. Would be huge if they could get The Rock to make an appearance.

It is normally on a base but I guess they couldn't find an appropriate location. As long as they only allow those enrolled in the armed forces into the arena then it should still be a special moment.

It will be special but I think it means more to the troops when it's at their base

The WWE Tribute To The Troops taping on December 11th in Fayetteville will not be open to the public. Only military personnel can attend the event. This is why no advertising or tickets have been released.

So this confirms it. Good move by WWE that only military personnel are allowed to attend to make the event more special and to make it a true Tribute to them.

I enjoy watching Tribute To The Troops. Troops are the people who deserve it one time per year.

Last year it was ran in some fort in Texas so I guess they'll continue having it in the states. I think that kind of depletes the concept and I'm sure JBL should have a say about this. It's still a nice gesture, though.

Usually, these shows suck pretty bad honesty. The matches are lackluster and the segments are forgettable. It's just an extra show on the WWE calendar that doesn't correspond with what they are doing on a weekly basis. I thought last year with them being in the states it was going to be kind of different, it really wasn't. I'll still tune in of course hoping for them to put on a solid show.

I think they just throw everything out of the window so they can have a feel good sort of show. Won't be watching this show though because the WWE pisses me off with their patriotic bullshit.
