I never said they would get a lot more. My only point was they are not going to get less than they are getting now.

Oh and my other point is that this doesn't in any realistic way affect WWE's ability to buy TNA and even finance the PPV and TV tapings IF they chose to do so. They would be able to do this easily.

That last offer thouh apparently was not what WWE wanted. TV ratings overall are down along with money. NFL IIRC has declining ratings as well.

I never said it was what WWE wanted. Again, the only point being made is that it was not LESS than they were making before and it will likely not be less than they are making now.

But still, none of this in any way prevents WWE from buying TNA easily. They are holding 200 million dollars in equity over debt. That is phenomenal and anything they want to do with TNA is well within their ability to do.

They can pay it off in a little over a year... Someone has to fix their problems

Their ratings are in the doldrms and the Network is half of what those goals are.

Details on WWE TV rights deal; stock plunges

And I think their stock is also really low.

They might be losing money on the network as well as I was reading the break even point is higher than the 1.6 subscribers they do have.
Those numbers are two years out of date regarding the network. The network is a big money maker for them. As in it is at least 20% of the yearly revenue.

And the ratings are always down when football season starts. This is nothing new. They pick up in January and go down in September again.

USA loves WWE and don't want to lose them. Because if they do they lose the most watched weekly non sports show on TV.

I assume she got the money from her parents... Could be Vince, too. But, I kinda doubt it.

That was my thought too. I know they washed their hands of TNA, but with Corgan and Aroluxe wanting to force her out (which is impossible since she is majority owner), perhaps they took a little bit of pity on her.

Doesn't matter. The Genetic Jackhammer will eventually buy TNA. I am really positive of that.

They'd run a serious risk of alienating a lot of people by doing that. Now personally, I would think it was brilliant and I would give them credit for it... but not sure everyone would feel that way.

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/761625-tna-being-purchased

According to WrestleZone WWE is infact purchasing the TNA video library and Billy Corgan is becoming the majority owner of the company and has plans to rebrand it...interesting, at least now AJ, Joe, Aries and Roode don't have to skate around their TNA history anymore.

Them purchasing the videos is good news for network subscribers who want to see old matches. I would imagine they would be able to use them on the network then.

Win win situation imo, TNA fans can continue watching the product and follow it but with a different name. WWE get extra content for the network and footage for guys like AJ, Roode, and EY.
