I am grateful that they didn't sell it to the Saudi's.

For reference for anyone out of the loop, since UFC has moved to ESPN+ which they get a ridiculous amount of money for, PPVs have increased $5 every single year and are now up to $80 for a single monthly PPV, on top of the ESPN+ subscription you actually pay
Soooo... $150 both Wrestlemania Nights in the future? $100 for the Royal Rumble alone maybe?

They're hands-off with UFC so I'd say it's good.

But I will believe any of this when I see it.

Rightly or wrongly, I guess they can get away with their PPV model because of each event being unique matchups (mostly) and not like wrestling where you're having rematches / slight variations in back to back events.

They still have a few years left on the Peacock exclusivity before this can even become a possibility yet anyway right?

The original Peacock deal was for 5 years yeah, I assume that would still be good despite any sale

International viewers don’t have that peacock deal though so we’ll be screwed over first. Awh man.

A company with a rapist and a wife beater as the two leaders is certainly not something I would ever call good. Not to mention that adding WWE is going to make UFC feel even more phoney and scripted

I think you guys might actually get fucked last but probably just depends on when rights deals are up. I think UFC shows are cheaper for non-Americans fwiw but it's a pretty unprecedented thing so hard to predict either way

All depends how they structured the Peacock deal I suppose and whether it's written in anywhere about the network being the supplier internationally so long as PLE's are exclusively on Peacock.
